More snow zoomies08 Jan 2008 00:30 GMT1
It finally snowed here in Helsinki. I went back to work after a two-week
holiday, and when I came home after the whole day away, I opened the
door to the enclosure. Instant snow zoomies! I actually managed to catch
some of it on film, but it was impossible to upload to any of the ...
The night before night before Christmas fun08 Jan 2008 00:00 GMT8
Last night DH casually mentioned that he wanted a mini remote control
helicopter for Christmas.  I calmly explained that he had not told
Santa he wanted a remote control helicopter for Christmas and
therefore he should not expect to find one in his stocking in a few
Purrs please for Fudge07 Jan 2008 21:51 GMT17
Helen M has asked me to pass on a request for purrs for an elderly dog
called Fudge (14), a labrador cross who has been very ill with renal
failure for some while. It is time for Fudge to cross the RB and Helen
is going with Fudge's owner to the vet for support. Please can everyone
Smudge has been talking about me07 Jan 2008 21:42 GMT5
Tonight after the cats' dinner I went to let Smudge out, but when I
opened the door, an orange-and-white kitty was standing there. He
mewed at me. I thought maybe he was my neighbor's cat who had gotten
out, so I went next door and rang their bell. But they weren't missing
[mostly OT] My drunken neighbor07 Jan 2008 18:54 GMT25
My next-door neighbor has been on a drunken binge for the past 3
days. I live in an apartment building - a smallish one, 4 units, two
upstairs, two downstairs. I'm in one of the upstairs ones, and he is
in the other. He lives with a female partner (don't know if they're

... a grey furry thing with green eyes showed up at my back door and
demanded to be let inside!  Seven years!  Where does the time go?!
So Happy Annifursary, Persia!  I'll be breaking her strict r/x diet rule
later today by giving her a can of Fancy Feast; sort of the Persia

Useless guard dog!!!07 Jan 2008 09:04 GMT9
I love the fact that Cara is fantastic around cats. I love the fact
that even fraidy Pandora is not afraid of Cara. I love the fact that
the cats are so comfortable with her, they get into bed and curl up
with her, and I love the fact that they treat her as a big cat and
drooping belly07 Jan 2008 08:53 GMT21
One of the boys has that drooping belly you see on some cats.  He isn't
overweight and I never really thought about it; what is that?  Anyone know?
I even see big cats with it.

Leaf Killah!07 Jan 2008 02:01 GMT1
It was a pleasant day this morning, with tem;s in the mid 60's and a
brisk wind. Everything was covered with fallen leaves.
Senyah and I were outside, and Little Boy decided to put on a show. We
sat onthe steps to watch.
I have an announcement.....HAPPY DANCE06 Jan 2008 22:47 GMT10
Today I officially turned the stores over to the new company.  What a year
it has been too many masters going to the RB.  Me almost losing my two of my
furballs.
I am retired as of noon today.  Yet I will find something to do  maybe open
STINKY New Year-- He's 1706 Jan 2008 22:26 GMT14
With the New Year, my darling Stinky turns 17.  He has slowed down somewhat,
is noticeably stiffer, and has lost some body mass, but is still
surprisingly active.  He is still the sweetest cat in the world, but has
become a bit more of a character-he's more directly demanding of ...
Another Missing - Molly06 Jan 2008 22:21 GMT22
Can she have a share of the "get your furry butt" home purrs as well?  She
didn't come in last night or this morning.
It isn't a first for her but it kind of cold out.  Part of me is sure she's
OK, but the rest is worried.
Missing kitty purrs06 Jan 2008 22:20 GMT32
I've posted before about the scares we've had when cats have gone
missing. In every case, they've turned up in the house or in the yard.
Now it's Harri Roadcat that's pulled a vanishing act. She usually greets
me as soon as I come downstairs in the morning, but I haven't been able ...
