A New Chapter19 Dec 2007 14:09 GMT13
The boys have sttled in and are no longer skulking arund the back of
furniture. The long haired blue eyed deaf one (previously known as Indigo)
is a very sooky puss, wanting to be picked up and cradled like a baby all
the time. Nobody here has time or the inclination to have a ...
Another book is available...19 Dec 2007 13:13 GMT1
I just finished reading MURDER MOST FELINE, a collection of
murder-mysteries with a kitty in the story.  Boy, this book sure
has traveled all over the world. The next person who wants it,
just email me with your address and I'll send it on. I am willing
Aahhaahhaahhaahhar!!19 Dec 2007 05:36 GMT5
Caliban the clown strikes again. I'm still wiping my eyes from laughing
so hard. This is probably one of those things that you had to be there
to appreciate, but I'll try to describe it anyway.
I was cutting up meat for the cats' supper and Caliban was hovering

*FIL places 4 bad kitties into a row on the couch.  Nocturne is
scowling.  Smokey is wearing a festive bandanna. *
FIL:  Now I want to hear that you understand the rules.
SMOKEY:  No caterwauling accompaniments.

Joel's tattoo artist swears Joel makes his life hell on pupose, he *hates*
doing bears because they are all fluffy!

occured to me that she didn't have time to post to RPCA to keep
everyone updated as she is out and about today... Four needs all the

Purr request for cousin18 Dec 2007 21:25 GMT21
My second cousin is 3 months pregnant and found out the baby has major
medical problems. If it is carried to term the baby might live a day or 2.
She going into the hospital Friday and the doctor is going to end the
pregnancy.
URGENT PURRS18 Dec 2007 21:24 GMT52
I just got home and found what looks like a puddle of blood on the
kitchen floor, there are solids in it, like if someone barfed it. None
of the cats look ill, but somebody did this and I can't tell who!!!
Any ideas how to figure this out without dragging all 7 cats to the
Purrs for Louie and his nervous wife18 Dec 2007 21:20 GMT17
We do volunteering for Tenth Chance every year at Petsmart, the photos with
Santa thing, and one of the elves got bit.
Seems an exuberant teenage dog, barely out of puppydom, got antsy when Louie
was picking up a stool and gave him a nip. A veterinary nurse (on staff; our
Update on Phoenix18 Dec 2007 21:19 GMT9
Just wanted to let everyone know the latest on Phoenix.  He has been
released from the vet, but the vet determined that he would need care
too difficult for a regular person with a full time job.  A vet tech
there graciously volunteered to foster him for a while so he will stay
Mescal's profile18 Dec 2007 16:35 GMT22
I've been lurking on this ng for a while, having a 3 yrs odl cat and having
needed some information for him sometimes.
I have finally created a profile page for Mescal, with its photos, videos
and stories, and I'd like to share it with everyone:
Four Dec 17 200718 Dec 2007 13:53 GMT9
I'm back online after the local server was down for four days, yahoo!   Four
is doing quite well. He has adapted to being on the screened in porch 24/7.
He eats like a horse!!!  He gets canned food twice a day. Today I went out
with a dish of kibble for him knowing that it is not ...
Krazy Kat!!!18 Dec 2007 07:28 GMT18
Maybe I've mentioned a few times before that Caliban is a Food Hound. It
must be hard for a FH to live with a vegetarian hoomin, but Caliban has
adapted wonderfully. You'd think I could have my vegetarian dishes in
peace, but Caliban is of the opinion that a FH's duty is to beg ...
Roxy's cute new cuddly game18 Dec 2007 05:21 GMT12
Roxy loves to get under the covers, but she doesn't usually stay there.
She paws at the covers so I'll lift them for her, and she runs underneath,
does some kind of very fast but inscrutable ritual in there, and then
bolts right back out.
