Vick's sentencing and a prayer vigil held last night for his cause.
There is a poll asking how much time he should receive for his part in
the dog fighting venture.  Right now about 51% think he should receive

I met TED in the supermarket today, we were both buying cat food. I didn't
recognise her for a few seconds it's funny how you see people differently in
different circumstances.

(not to worry, I was just picking up more of Persia's food) I noticed they
had one of those life-like sleeping (and breathing!) kitties on the
reception desk.  It was a cute little orange tabby curled up in a fleece
bed.  Then I saw on the shelves behind the desk a number of both ...

For those with OCD or geekness or whatever.
Last year, there were a total of 59 people on the card list, this year,
there is 52
Last year, of those 58 people, 17 people were 'receive only', this year

Picked up Princess from TED this afternoon and she's recuperating from
her spay. She seemed a little wobbly when I picked her up, but is OK
now that the meds have worn off. I had to stop her from jumping a
couple times already, so will have to watch her so she doesn't pull

I posted this on another site but, was too good not to share.  Went to
Mary's, second grade Christmas program tonight.
It turned out to be one of those programs that jokes are made about.  The
kindergarten kids were singing Ho HO HO.  A little boy said Ho HO and threw

I just wanted to post about one of the PACA rescue group's kitties that went
to the Rainbow Bridge today.
Her name was Rahab and I only knew her for a brief time but she was a
special girlcat.  She and her sister, Abigail, both ended up at "permanent"

I told a friend that I think that all jobs are sucky in some way or
another and that I do what I can to make my life at work more
entertaining.
I people watch, work on come backs, think how I'd do something

Received some great news after my first delivery tonight. When I
pulled up a couple people were wandering along the storefront saying
they thought they could hear a kitten. We broke out a couple
flashlights and a couple of my teenage coworkers climbed onto the roof

Just got home from Princess' TED appointment. Just a short note on the
way out the door, but the heading pretty much says everything. She's
weighs in right at 7 pounds, is negative for the feline aids, on the
whole amazingly healthy for a cat who has been fending for herself

Please could "Four" have some serious good luck and good outcome
purrs? I don't want to go into too much just yet, but a friend in
Florida, USA (who lurks and occasionally posts on RPCA) and I are
working together to get a stray boy-cat who has been through an awful
