I took in a pregnant stray who gave birth to 5 kittens. Two normal toms, a
queen with a form of syndactyly, ie one toe on her front feet, one qeen with
3 toes on her front feet, (she died at 48 hrs) and a tom, Charlie with 3 toes
on his front feet, 5 on his back and no claws!! There ...

What the heck...22 Nov 2007 15:23 GMT2
I'll be at my brother's house by about 11AM tomorrow to help with (U.S.)
Thanksgiving prep.  "Dinner" is around 2PM.  Persia will be alone most of
the day; I may even stay overnight.  (Scott is still experiencing pain and
gets very tired.)

Fez has a new favorite game. He sits on the computer chair and I spin it
as fast as I can. He's pretty heavy, so it's a bit of an effort. I
spin, spin, spin.... until he falls down and tries to walk around,
unable to tell right from left.

Fleagor is in hospital21 Nov 2007 22:53 GMT23
Fleagor hadn't been around for a few days.  Last night he was in when I
got home.  When checking him over for ticks and generally grooming him, I
discovered a huge lump on his lower right jaw.
I tried to take him to the vet this morning, but he wouldn't come when
Speedy svcared the bad mans21 Nov 2007 22:31 GMT2
Those of us who know Speedy, the d-thing, know that there is a healthy
dollop of chicken in his ancestry.  It is not unusual for him to act
as though various people are out to get him.  This often gets him a
lot of sympathy, or the object of his fear tries to convince him that

Purrs for my LLL, My Beloved21 Nov 2007 22:28 GMT31
John went to the doctor.  I knew there was something wrong.  He'd had
angioplasty before I reunited with him and a quintuple bypass since then.
But the doctor said despite all that his heart isn't able to keep up.  He's
not in the hospital.  But it's such that he shouldn't over work ...

Here are the pictures I took to document all the fun...
This us the sad one - the look on Bucky's face, wondering when I could get
everything back to normal:

Nox's new evil (I'm back!)21 Nov 2007 22:14 GMT8
I've been gone a while undergoing medical tests and being diagnosed
with what seems to be reactive airway disorder or asthma.  Medication
has it well under control.
I had to have allergy tests (my third round) and apparently while I am
Purrs and prayers request21 Nov 2007 21:54 GMT30
Some of you will remember hearing about my cousin, Margi, who acted as an
intermediary between rpca and Debbie Wilson when I was told I would die and
rehoming my cats was a real issue in 05.
One of her sons, Chris, collapsed playing football last week.  He's in

Most of us have probably seen the original, but check out what someone
