The snow has begun25 Nov 2007 04:36 GMT22
It's still pretty light, but central Iowa is now getting snowfall. Should
be interesting to see how the kitties like it when I get home. I know that
Harri really dislikes snow, but the others haven't experienced it yet.
Version 2007-2 of the rpca holiday card list25 Nov 2007 03:19 GMT5
is winging its way through alphabet heaven, bouncing off of satellites
to land on your desktop hopefully by morning.  If you are expecting a
copy of the list but don't receive it, check your screened mail first,
your provider may think I am spamming you.  If you don't get a copy

I posted these over in alt.binaries.pictures.animals and then thought I'd
try to give ya'll a chance to see these, too, so I put them into my

It's January 12, 2008!  On a Caturday-- how appropriate!
Little Chickadees24 Nov 2007 22:36 GMT2
There's a little band of chickadees bouncing around my tiny back yard at the
moment.  The cats' eyes are popping out of their heads, heh heh heh.
Chickadees are cool little birds.  They are really cute, for one thing:

The Mighty Huntress Roadcat does it again24 Nov 2007 22:31 GMT6
It seems my recent post on Harri Roadcat's adjustment to life as a
housecat prompted her to relive some of her past adventures.
Yesterday evening Nancy was in the kitchen doing her holiday baking, I was
in the living room relaxing, and the kitties were spread about the house
Breakfast burritos24 Nov 2007 19:14 GMT6
I make these around Christmas for work every year.  Multiply the recipe by 5
and you get the quantity I cook for the gang.  I usually get it all cooked
and put it in a crock pot to keep it warm. (I have one of those oval ones
that are lower and perfect for buffet serving)  This ...
I'm worrying about myself...24 Nov 2007 18:56 GMT45
Last night I had a very good friend over to visit. We were doing bead
jewelry together. We've been close friends for about 12 years.
Anyway, at some point during the evening, Roxy came by for a cuddle.
So I let her hang over my shoulder and purr, while I cooed and petted

The best way to protect yourself from the cold is to bunch up as much as
you can:

I can't find your post where you gave us the URL to your website.
The subject line is "Ping Takayuki", and I see all the other posts
in that thread, but for some reason, not yours. (Although I did get
yours originally, because I saved it so I could look at the site
Anyone else have a polydactyl cat?24 Nov 2007 12:01 GMT22
Hi. Four months ago I adopted a black polydactyl cat.  Ernie, who is now
about a year old, has 7 toes on each of his front feet and 5 on each of his
back feet.  I am fascinated by his big feet!  His front paws look like big
mittens.  They cause him no problems but he does seem a ...
Words of Wisdom...24 Nov 2007 11:53 GMT1
Pinched from a ".sig" on another ng:
"Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should
relax, and get used to the idea."
I'm used to it ;-)
