| The snow has begun | 25 Nov 2007 04:36 GMT | 22 |
It's still pretty light, but central Iowa is now getting snowfall. Should be interesting to see how the kitties like it when I get home. I know that Harri really dislikes snow, but the others haven't experienced it yet.

| Little Chickadees | 24 Nov 2007 22:36 GMT | 2 |
There's a little band of chickadees bouncing around my tiny back yard at the moment. The cats' eyes are popping out of their heads, heh heh heh. Chickadees are cool little birds. They are really cute, for one thing: http://www.physorg.com/newman/gfx/news/chickadee.jpg

| The Mighty Huntress Roadcat does it again | 24 Nov 2007 22:31 GMT | 6 |
It seems my recent post on Harri Roadcat's adjustment to life as a housecat prompted her to relive some of her past adventures. Yesterday evening Nancy was in the kitchen doing her holiday baking, I was in the living room relaxing, and the kitties were spread about the house

| Breakfast burritos | 24 Nov 2007 19:14 GMT | 6 |
I make these around Christmas for work every year. Multiply the recipe by 5 and you get the quantity I cook for the gang. I usually get it all cooked and put it in a crock pot to keep it warm. (I have one of those oval ones that are lower and perfect for buffet serving) This ...

| I'm worrying about myself... | 24 Nov 2007 18:56 GMT | 45 |
Last night I had a very good friend over to visit. We were doing bead jewelry together. We've been close friends for about 12 years. Anyway, at some point during the evening, Roxy came by for a cuddle. So I let her hang over my shoulder and purr, while I cooed and petted

| Anyone else have a polydactyl cat? | 24 Nov 2007 12:01 GMT | 22 |
Hi. Four months ago I adopted a black polydactyl cat. Ernie, who is now about a year old, has 7 toes on each of his front feet and 5 on each of his back feet. I am fascinated by his big feet! His front paws look like big mittens. They cause him no problems but he does seem a ...
