OK, I know it was all my own fault, really.
How many times have I been told not to drink anything at the computer?
How many times have I been told to make back-ups frequently?
Caliban was just being his normal, bouncy but innocent self. The
Thanks for the purrs- they worked!03 Nov 2007 23:18 GMT4
A while back I asked for purrs for a friend of mine who lost his job for "not
being committed enough" after he took time off work to stay with his wife who
had just lost their baby
I just got a call from him, he's been doing some temporary work and a couple
Boyfie and my older brother03 Nov 2007 23:00 GMT29
I am so annoyed I can hardly post this for hisspitting,
I had an unannounced visit from my older brother today (not the one who has
Tigger.)
For the first time ever Boyfie was in his donut bed in the same room and
You're supposed to put it on *Your* back03 Nov 2007 22:52 GMT4
I have been having back pain, probably from degenerative disk
disorder. I get this periodically and let it get so bad that I can't
move and OTC medication won't take the pain away before I call my
doctor.  I've been going to work every day but coming home and going
Amber is hard to convince03 Nov 2007 19:47 GMT1
When I feed Tiger and Amber, I only put about 1/3 of the (6oz) can out
at first.  This is because Tiger would eat his whole half at once and
promptly barf it up.  Amber eats a little, leaves and then comes back
for more - usually five or six times.  When the can is empty, I tell
A companion list to the RB Kitties03 Nov 2007 19:41 GMT11
Several times I've heard someone say it has been such a hard year,
we've had so many kitties cross the Bridge this year.  When did your
cats adopt you and how old were they when they crossed the bridge?  I
would guess that the problem is that so many of us have been members
Bucky insists03 Nov 2007 19:33 GMT2
This is the cat who, over a year ago, was the stereotypical skittish
feral kitten. He would not allow closeness of more than three feet, or
touching. He did not like to be held, and certainly not cuddled!
Now, if I happen to be sitting, he walks up to me and stands on his
UPDATE ON KA'SHAY03 Nov 2007 18:59 GMT17
Well talked to the vet tech.  My vet is out sick.  He told me to make sure
to keep the claw clean and to watch it.  There really is not much you can do
except make sure it stays clean and make sure it does not get infected.  He
talked about maybe putting what ever you ladies use ...
For those of concern (OT i think)03 Nov 2007 18:55 GMT6
Its been a while since P. Shirk (in my case mom) has been posting
since her last post until her computer fixes itself of all of the
viruses. I don't know if mom had posted anything about our little
dalute calico foster cat. We called her MCG (Miss Caloco Girl) but now

Bucky's toybox03 Nov 2007 12:44 GMT1
In the morning, I go through my get ready for work ritual. I shower,
shave, and use a couple of Q-Tips (cotton swabs) to dry out my ears.
Now, Bucky likes Q-Tips. He grabs them and rips their little cotton
tips off, then plays soccer with the paper stick. He knows where the

He's gonna go deaf... :o(02 Nov 2007 23:24 GMT15
Hi all.  `Haven't posted in a long time, but `have been lurking, so I
figured writing about Felix in here was the best place.  My poor guy is
going to go deaf.  He has had troubles w/some tumors (benign) growing in his
left ear.  This summer, he had $1,500.00 worth of surgery to ...
cat with intestinal blockage02 Nov 2007 23:23 GMT4
hi, all,
my mother's cat, Zoe (5+ years old), has had an intestinal blockage
for about 4-5 days.  x-rays on Weds. showed some unidentified "haze"
just above some stool.  it looks to be near the "tail end", but my mom
