I was cruising the LJ images page (http://fuzzysquid.com/LJ.php), and

Hugs and Purrs,
Way way off topic08 Nov 2007 22:47 GMT4
We have a lighting problem.  There is a four tube fluorescent light on our
kitchen ceiling.  The two outside tubes have gone out.
I've been stumbling through the internet to try to learn a bit about this.
And come up with an off the wall idea of what might be causing it.  The same ...

Dear group,
I received this video by e-mail but I thought, I should share it with

Oscar's in a bad way08 Nov 2007 22:13 GMT65
I'm sorry -- I've gotten distracted and honestly I couldn't keep up
with rpca and and and ....
Well anyway.  Those of you who remember Oscar, I would love it if you
could send some purrs her way.  And I thought you would like to know.
I wasn't finished with you!08 Nov 2007 21:49 GMT2
I was having a nap with the girls, Cali was under my arm and Cleo was on my
legs. I was rubbing Cali's head with my free hand when I stopped to pet
Cleo. Next thing I now Cali is poking me in the head, "Slave, did I say you
could stop!". :-)
Followup on my mom's surgery08 Nov 2007 21:42 GMT9
My mom was diagnosed with yet another cancerous tumor 2-3 weeks ago. Her
oncologist last week and scheduled her for surgery this last Monday.
Her surgery was uneventful. She experienced quite a bit of pain the
first night, but on Tuesday she was feeling a lot better. She was able
Purrayers for our neighbour's cat08 Nov 2007 21:36 GMT3
A few weeks ago the young guys living next door adopted a beautiful
black and white long-haired cat... I've seen him lying in the front
window every single day, watching the world go by and he's GORGEOUS!
Alas, they found out that keeping a young and active 9-month-old cat
No longer an RPCA  hit and run....08 Nov 2007 21:33 GMT3
I'm *FINALLY* back online after serious PC problems.
My appologies for a mass update/purr email.
The Miles Felines are sending RB purrs to all who need them - it has
been a truly terrible year for RB kitties. Purrs are also being sent

Purrs for all08 Nov 2007 21:23 GMT4
I just can't read them right now. I think a kitty just died on our
diabetes board. It was horrible. Somedays there is just too too much
tragedy and I can't read all the posts as I should. But know that I am
thinking of you all.
New Home08 Nov 2007 21:09 GMT2
Well, I brought my girls to their new home from the boarding
kennel, yesterday.  I was already impressed with the
facility when they provided me with "report cards" (they
called it a "Guest Revue") for each of them.  Quite thorough
Neighborhood Excitement!  [OT]08 Nov 2007 21:08 GMT13
So I'm sitting here the other day, playing Bubbels, with the local news
on in the background.
The announcer's voice suddenly breaks into my consciousness, by
mentioning an intersection in town that just happens to be *mine*.  I
puzzles online... dang, got me hooked...08 Nov 2007 20:15 GMT5
Happened to stumble over a site with online puzzles and kept clicking at
them for ages... there are quite a few cats too...

It's possible that someone's already posted this, but at least I didn't
Vet's bill08 Nov 2007 18:35 GMT21
I wondered if you all might want to compare Boyfie's recent vet bill for his
cat fight and see what you think it might have been where you are:

The joys of cat ownership, chapter 4,72408 Nov 2007 06:04 GMT7
Woke up about 6 or so this morning and stumbled out to open up the deck
door so poor Molly the d*g could go out and potty and so cats could go
in and out as they wish...at least until I get up for real and turn on
the heat.
