The final farewell10 Nov 2007 21:41 GMT13
It is never easy, getting that all from the vet after the deed is done, for
the deed itself is never fina; they must let us know that the ashes have been
returned to the office for pick-up. When i got the call I was at a friend's
house all the way in South Buffalo (we live in one of ...
Can I have some toothy purrs please?10 Nov 2007 21:38 GMT14
My mouth was fine last night, but when I woke up this morning my mouth
was hurting, and it hasn't stopped yet! I'm afraid that the pork
spareribs we ate the other day might have cracked one of my old
fillings or something, or else the stupid dentist damaged something
Saturday Morning Smack Down!10 Nov 2007 21:22 GMT13
For those of you who were following Archer's progress with his broken leg,
it appears he is back to normal and ready to take on the world (or at least
his bro-fur).

Flippy's cat wins yawn poll!10 Nov 2007 21:18 GMT7
Flippy, our Aussie cat advocate with her kitty website and mailing
list, entered a photo of her late cat Tiffany in a funniest cat yawn
poll. The polling has ended - and Tiffy is the winner. The photo is
hilarious and won almost twice the votes of the nearest condender. You

Vinnie (RB)10 Nov 2007 16:54 GMT27
Yes I am very sorry to add to the doom and gloom but Vinnie the elderly black
FIV cat I sponsored has followed too many others recently across the Bridge .
Apparently he developed a very agressive tumour in his mouth but was
comfortable, the day before he died, he enjoyed sunning ...
My brother's dog has a cat!10 Nov 2007 13:10 GMT13
My brother Pat has been caring for a feral cat that has been coming his
yard. He's been leaving food and water and trying to get the kitty
accustomed to being near him. As the kitty has been getting more at ease
with Pat he has occasionally been coming through Maggie's dog door ...
The Big Dood Rocks10 Nov 2007 00:11 GMT4
Stinky still comes charging down the stairs a couple of times a day and
tears through the house.  He makes a stop at the scratching post and does a
few vigorous rips at it, and whooshes away again.  He also likes to make
impressive leaps from the kitchen counter to the dining ...
Considerate Persia09 Nov 2007 22:47 GMT3
I wasn't feeling very well yesterday; I watched some TV last night and read
for a couple of hours.  I was tired and just too lazy to get up off the
couch, so I pulled the knitted afghan over me and fell asleep.  Persia was
snoozing in her little pyramid bed.
A visitor09 Nov 2007 22:44 GMT4
A beautiful ginger kitten, about 6 months old, has been hanging around my
garden today. I can't get near him, he runs and hides if I approach him so I
can't tell yet whether he's entire or not. Snoopy hasn't noticed him yet but
Baggy's meowed at him, I'd love him to become part ...
Decorations09 Nov 2007 22:38 GMT3
In the every day grind of getting up, going to work, facing traffic
and so on, I sometimes forget about the simple little joys.
I got to work yesterday, walked around the back of my car, to get my
stuff out, and noticed the back end of my car - there were muddy
Heartwarming cat news from Japan09 Nov 2007 22:32 GMT3
I just read the following in the English version of the Japanese
newspaper, The Daily Yomiuri, and I thought it would encourage all of
you.  I especially love the fact that "the prefectural government gave
them protection".  I ask you, where else!
It looks like we are eight now.09 Nov 2007 22:28 GMT12
Remember MCG (Miss Callico Girl) the rescue kitty we were fostering?
Well, the kids couldn't stand it any more and released her into the
wilds of the house where she has settled in very nicely.  She had a
short hissing contest with most of the other cats and then a couple of
Oscar is eating!09 Nov 2007 19:15 GMT25
... and pooping!
Okay, she's eaten kibble from her plate at least twice that I know of
since we went to bed last night -- we woke up and half of the small
amount on her plate was missing; shortly after we woke up, we
