Archer is out a bit27 Oct 2007 22:05 GMT3
I let him out of the kennel just now to let him roam around a bit and get
some exercise.  At the moment he seems subdued enough - he's not zooming
around anywhere.  He's not even limping, exactly, it's more like he's
walking a bit crooked.  Even after just a short time in the ...
Would You Consider Helping Poohbear and Max--Two Tabby Cats??27 Oct 2007 20:39 GMT4
I am in need of help for 2 of my cats: Poohbear and Max.
I have a 3rd cat, Tigger, who was diagnosed with Chronic Renal Failure
in May of this year.
A week ago, I noticed that Max was wheezing, and coughing, so I called
Good news - Mohrchen got rid of his plastic-collar and is feeling well27 Oct 2007 11:30 GMT20
Now this were 10 days in pre-hell. And my Mohrchen took them so brave.
Because of his eye-surgery they cut the whiskers on the left side and
he had to wear this collar so he was really challenged in his
navigation.
I must say.....27 Oct 2007 02:32 GMT14
You all have stunning kitties.  I have never in my life met a kitty I did
not like.  May all your furry friends have healthy long and loving lives.

My cats might get the feed of their life tomorrow!27 Oct 2007 00:12 GMT16
There was a monkfish tail at the supermarket tonight when I popped in for
some bread quite late, going spare on it's sell-by-date.  Convert the
currency for USA by doubling it.  It cost 7.65 and I got it for 0.50.  My
freezer is full of such bargains and no more room but how ...

Abby had a appointment today to have her teeth cleaned and had 4 teeth
pulled. The vet said one tooth was very hard to get out. Even tho she had a
shot of pain medicine she looks like she is in some pain. I have medicine to
give her for the next 7 days.

Another Archer Update26 Oct 2007 20:38 GMT16
I just got off the phone with Dr. French.  He said that Archer is putting
weight on his leg, and the area of the break looks pretty strong, so they're
not going to put another cast on Archer's leg because of the flayed skin.
I'll still have to keep him confined for another 2 ...
More Cold Weather "Zoomies"26 Oct 2007 13:37 GMT4
It's very chilly so Persia's also gotten an attack of the zoomies.  She's
not only racing around, she's decided the strings that hold up my pajama
bottoms are great fun to attack.  She tackled and knocked over and sideways
the red cube I got for her; she was on a toy mousie hunt :)
Vicious demon killer kitten26 Oct 2007 13:30 GMT2
I feed the ferals and, as sometimes happens, one comes inside with me
until I put out the food. Tonight, Blacky came in.
Blacky is a sweet, smart love bug, and puts his paws up on the food
container while I scoop up the food. He meows if he thinks I'm being
Well Now I Like It26 Oct 2007 13:20 GMT6
This morning DP got out of bed to feed gravy gal (Tyche) and gravy guy
(Smokey).
Now:  The usual story is that a can of fancy feast is divided into
two.  Tyche descends upon the first bowl like a plague of locusts
WE HATE that!!!26 Oct 2007 06:06 GMT12
so I went to the store and bought chicken wings for the cats, between
Granby's description and a vegan friend who feels its important enough that
she touches it I figured I would give it a try, thawed them handed them out,
a few licks and then totally ignored!!!, Guess DH will ...

For almost four months a baby jaguar has gone by the name Baby, but on
Monday she finally received a name.

Purrs for Sabrina, please?25 Oct 2007 22:44 GMT17
Oh God, i hope she is not getting sick too...just a listlessness and a very
pricky attitude. She won't come on to our chests to let us pet her, an d when
we bring her to the bed, she moves to a cushion behind the bed. Nor has she a
great iterest in food, though she munched down some ...
