The Loving Ones - TW29 Oct 2007 17:07 GMT7
It's been a while since I posted this link - I first stumbled across it in
2004.  Those who've joined since then might want to take a look.
Warning (especially for those who have had recent losses) - it *will* make
you cry, but it will be good tears.

Heath and Heater Tea - obligatory cat29 Oct 2007 02:58 GMT11
I need for someone in another country (not USA) to aid and abet me in
getting some Heath and Heather Tea, night time variety into the USA. It
seems that they have changed their packaging and it no longer meets USA
labeling criteria and they aren't very likely to go redesign it ...
Pearl news and Ping Julie and Same re: lung lobes28 Oct 2007 21:46 GMT7
I'm pinging Julie because I *think* Sam has a collapsed lobe? Do you know
which one? Your vet is much more experienced than mine (Pearl is their first
inhaled meds kitty). Here is what has been going on with us:
We had xrays for the first time in a couple of years yesterday along ...
Where is my Cat Man?28 Oct 2007 21:17 GMT5
A friend sent me this poem  today and I thought others would
appreciate it
too.  Where is my Cat Man?

[TW] Blacky has left for Rainbow Bridge28 Oct 2007 21:06 GMT29
On Monday, 22nd October at about 4:30 pm our vet put him out of his
misery.
After his stay at the animal's hospital we gained some hope. But back
at home he ate less from day to day, no favourite food, no treats
Purrs please28 Oct 2007 21:02 GMT21
Pearl could use some purrs. I'm too tired to go into it right now. I
don't think it is life threatening but she is awfully uncomfortable and
some purrs would be majorly appreciated.
Disturbing message at work today28 Oct 2007 20:56 GMT14
Late this afternoon there was a message from our IT department
to everyone in our building saying this:
"If anyone here drives a gray Toyota, license plate # <blah blah>,
someone has reported that there is a cat stuck in your car engine.
Moving Day28 Oct 2007 20:55 GMT9
Well, tomorrow the movers are coming, so I may be
computerless for a couple of days, until I get it hooked up
again.  Melisande and Cendrillon are being boarded at their
new vets.  (Actually, the "Pet Lodge" affiliate of their new
Missing Shmogg28 Oct 2007 20:38 GMT19
Thought I was OK, thought I was mostly 'over it', thought the earring (which
still hurts - more on that later) was working.
But last night for no particular reason i just broke down again. For a cat
that in his last weeks pretty much only slept and drank, and whose main
Fire Purrs28 Oct 2007 20:29 GMT10
Can purrs steer the California wildfires? I dunno, but I'd like to
request at least some good thoughts be sent the way of some of my
relatives in California. They live in Laguna Hills, in Orange County,
and the Santiago fire is "just over the hill."
Late night ghost stories28 Oct 2007 15:04 GMT1
For those of you still awake and looking for a good ghost story: AMC
is showing John Carpenter's "The Fog"  Somewhat of a B rated film it
still provides scary plot at appropriate times of the film. With
Adrianne Bardeau, Jamie Lee Curtis and Janet Lee in the movie how

The Flying Feline Wallenda28 Oct 2007 00:23 GMT1
One of those times you really wish you had the video camera in hand . . . .
I'm just standing in the hall, talking to DH.  The hall has some junk
piled up that has yet to find a home, and a reproduction shaker rocking
chair that was my mother's.
