She is doing fine tonight  being a little devil as usually.  She has weight
on her paw.  She still is not happy with me having to pick her up and look
at her paw

I apologize profusely30 Oct 2007 21:45 GMT59
I'm so sorry.  I didn't mean to offend anyone living in the UK.  Stormee
just happened to hit one of my "hot buttons" and I tend to have a knee-jerk
reaction to that (I really hate it when someone implies that the US is a
bunch of ignorant savages - I guess my age is telling, I ...

Mowse!30 Oct 2007 08:59 GMT15
Miranda caught a mouse in the enclosure this morning! I don't know how
it got into the enclosure. Must have been via the manhole or maybe it
squeezed between the netting and the wall. Must have been one of these
suicidal mouses we've been talking about. To deliberately squeeze ...
Marley, the Stealth Cat30 Oct 2007 05:08 GMT14
My coworker Bill and his wife, Shell, are owned by two tuxedo cats and
a young brown tabby, Marley.  Marley likes to "surf" in the bedroom
curtains. He will repeat the maneuver several times per surfing
session!
I'm Worried About Archer30 Oct 2007 05:03 GMT48
His leg looks OK, a bit raw in spots, but that's not what I'm worried about.
I'd told you guys that his first cast was too tight and caused his toes to
swell - and they had that on him for *THREE WEEKS* before putting on the
second cast (which he wiggled almost out of in four ...
The earring30 Oct 2007 03:03 GMT2
Apprantly I've gained some 'street cred' amongst the younger crowd at work.
Turns out that a few of them are into piercings and other 'body
modification' too (tattoos, scarification and inserts and other things i
don't want to know about) - but have been sensible enough to only ...
Smokey is Polish!30 Oct 2007 02:17 GMT2
Smokey hates all tube foods, Wieners, Sausage, etc. She always tries to bury
them when I offer them to her.
So I was sure she would do the same with the Kielbasa I offered her, but she
loves it. It's actually a little dull as Polish sausage goes, but she

Back from Down Under30 Oct 2007 00:06 GMT4
I had a wonderful time in Oz, but came back to way too many posts to read,
even if this were my only newsgroup instead of one of five.  I've had to
mark everything as read.  Purrs, sympathy and hugs to those who need them.
Best wishes to all.
USA'ns: Help Protect Pets -- Call Your U.S. Senators Today!29 Oct 2007 23:46 GMT3
Dear Friend,
Once every five years or so, Congress considers the Farm Bill,
which means we have a rare opportunity to pass animal welfare
legislation as part of this large package. I hope you will join
Abby update29 Oct 2007 20:58 GMT3
Thanks for all the purrs. Abby is starting to feel better after having 4
teeth pulled. She ate a little last night and more when DH came home from
work. She was washing her face today.
We were starting to worry because she hadn't eaten since Sunday night. She
Food translation?29 Oct 2007 18:10 GMT143
Having read the Survey thread, there were lots of foods I didn't recognise.
So, people, please describe or explain:
Enfilade - what is a Cottage Roll?
Will in New haven - what is Chicken Murphy?
