Update 3: KFC24 Sep 2007 21:56 GMT20
Tears just spilled over at all the kind thoughts when I read the replies to
update 2.
I found a posh Gourmet chicken pouch and she ate most of it today :-)
I will see how she is over the weekend.  If she does not improve I will take
Both "sponsored kitties" have been adopted24 Sep 2007 19:16 GMT5
Good news!  I wrote some time ago about the two kitties I was "sponsoring"
by paying for vetting, innoculations and spay/neuter (a male and a female).
The little male was adopted almost immediately -- although the ideal would
have been for them to be adopted as a pair -- and the ...
Ping Polonca24 Sep 2007 05:14 GMT2
I just saw the news of the storm in Slovenia, purrs for the loved ones of
the 4 that died. Were you badly affected?

Wish I had Video.23 Sep 2007 22:28 GMT3
Fall is here.  It is raining for the first time since spring and the furkids
as usual don't know what to make of it.
I can see it is going to be a long, interesting winter.
Kayla was settled down in her "quiet corner" where she can see everything
My cat is a jumping freak!23 Sep 2007 22:26 GMT10
I just wanted to share this video with you:  My cat Pippy is a jumping
freak! With absolutely no regard as to where he is throwing his body,
he demonstrates incredible jumping skills. Seriously, I'm convinced he
has no fear.
Little Bit Update23 Sep 2007 22:24 GMT7
Just got back from TED, and really no real news to report. As
suggested, we did so a blood test, and the results looked pretty good.
Everything, including glucose, was well within normal ranges, except
for the Sodium level with was slightly elevated (166 and the normal
Update 2: KFC23 Sep 2007 22:22 GMT26
She was awfully unwell yesterday.  She is eating soft raw minced beef
tonight, and yes, I know very well that beef is not good for a kitty with
kidney failure but like TED says there is no point trying to get a  cat to
eat special kidney food if they won't and just let them eat ...
Odessa purrs again, please...?23 Sep 2007 22:21 GMT12
Lucky for us that Louie stayed home from work; Odessa started a dry
coiuighing that was thereatening to turn into choking. He's running her to
the vet now. Hopefully all it'll take is another steroid shot to reduce the
throat inflammation, it worked the last time for her; otherwise ...

This is the b***ard cat trick of the century!23 Sep 2007 21:48 GMT7
Someone will doubtless say it wasn't since she had no control over
what happened but the way she handled it I think qualifies it for the
award
Got home last night, Dave mentioned he was a bit worried about Sarsi
Pine Cone23 Sep 2007 21:41 GMT5
i just pine cone a new collar and i put a big bell on it for him.
Since I did that for him he wont stop jingleing it. He is so happy.
I've never seen him try to strech his tail higher than it would
naturaly. He goes out to the living room just so he shows it off to
Ranger's high-climbing adventures23 Sep 2007 21:40 GMT8
We have a kid's gym in our back yard that was left by the previous owners
of the house. It's got 3 swings, a deck about 3 feet off the ground
surrounded with canvas walls and a canvas roof, and a slide down from the
deck. Ranger and Sammy love to run up the slide and hang out on the ...
ONE YEAR UPDATE23 Sep 2007 21:32 GMT3
So far so good  it has been a year this week since the pet food recall
incident where Spirit was in danger.
Harri's "tiny kitten" act23 Sep 2007 21:32 GMT6
I've posted briefly on this before, but my little baby kitten has been
practicing and refining her skills so I think it merits mention again.
Our washer and dryer are down in the basement. It's not a dark, scary
basement like some I've seen - it's clean, the lights light it really
Touchstone clowder update23 Sep 2007 21:30 GMT13
Well, the Touchstone kittys are still alive and mostly well - more on
that later. Now a days I'm a lurker who only signs on once a month or
so instead of nightly like I used to - so there's no way for me to
keep current.
