Here's an amazing story with a happy ending.  Construction workers
discovered that a kitten had been trapped when conrete was poured to form a
set of stairs at a school under construction.  The worker who rescued the
kitten rushed it to a veterinarian and now is going to adopt it ...

Well, today was the day and Luna and Maya went off to TED for their
annual exam. You could not believe their yowling!!! It's like they
*knew* I was taking them to the sausage factory or something.
Anyhow, they both are in great shape, except Luna needs to get her teeth

are clean and show no evidence of recurrent disease. YEA!! It has been
almost a year since he was initially diagnosed with osteosarcoma.
Hopefully we'll have many more years of clear x-rays.

Hi everyone, I am just back from a cruise along the Yangtse in China.   It
is an amazing place - buildings are going up everywhere, and there is an air
of excitement as they await the Olympic Games in Beijing.  However - on the
minus side the pollution is bad!!!   We came home ...

Persia was snoozing... I reached over and patted her.  She curled up one lip
in what was decidedly an Elvis Presley sneer.  Showed one fang and looked
for all the world like she was about to say, "thank you, thank you very
much."  Oh my goodness!

Yesterday I bought myself some nice new Baby Phat sneakers for 66% off
at the local discount outlet.  I am very pleased to get these for a
reasonable price, and the rhinestone felines are delightful:

I was just playing Louie's favorite game with him.  I call it "I'll
