Bengal Cats13 Sep 2007 04:58 GMT7
The Bengal is a relatively new hybrid breed of cat developed to have a
gentle and friendly temperament, while exhibiting the markings (such as
large spots, rosettes, and a light/white belly), and body structure
reminiscent of the wild Asian Leopard Cat (Prionailurus bengalensis). In
Just Dropped Persia & Peaches for Boarding :(12 Sep 2007 22:31 GMT6
Just dropped them off.  Even though I'll only be in the apartment for
another 2 hours, the apartment feels incredibly empty.  I keep looking
around expecting to see Persia meatloafing on the floor behind me. (sigh)
Oh well, they love Persia and take very good care of her.
More kitty tales12 Sep 2007 19:30 GMT4
Smudge and I went for a walk earlier this evening. I should note that
while I'm the one who started this ritual, she is now the one who
initiates all the walks. This is an important part of our weekend
activities, apparently.

surgical alopecia12 Sep 2007 14:18 GMT1
Hi all, I used to be a member here. Too busy with the Offutt
Orphanage kitty rescue to keep up with many groups. Any who, I'm looking
for info on fixing surgical alopecia. I got a 5 week old kitten nearly 2
months ago with a really broken femur that needed to be pinned. He was
Shelter re-visit, new favorite & probably the One12 Sep 2007 12:45 GMT33
Well,  I went back today to see Ava and the White One to hopefully make a
decision.  They were both snoozing in the same open cage (White One on the
high shelf and Ava on the lower) Ava was quite adorable with the
paw-over-the-face posture and White One had cleaned herself up a bit ...
Ping: Sue (long)12 Sep 2007 10:04 GMT17
Sue, I sympathize with your somewhat agonizing search to find the right cat
for your lifestyle (busy working person) while also making sure the cat is
happy and is a good fit personality-wise for you.  Let me tell you the story
of Persia, who is an only-cat.

Dot and Buster's truce11 Sep 2007 21:14 GMT37
Last week, Dot's wanderings into Buster's territory caused some chases
and fights, but it seems now that they've become weary and wary of
each other's fighting abilities, and now mostly posture and bluff.
At the same time, it's become the time of year for the squirrels to
Treats Thief!11 Sep 2007 17:17 GMT8
This one is long - sorry about that for those with slow connections, but I
cut all of it I could without ruining the story of how the cats got their
own treats!  ;>

Cleo's problem11 Sep 2007 17:08 GMT11
I've mentioned before about Cleo's preference for peeing on the carpet
rather than in her box. She gets locked up at night and for an hour in the
afternoon, which helped in the beginning, but she's been incorrigible
lately. She pretty much pees everywhere in her room, except her ...
Neighborhood kitty11 Sep 2007 17:01 GMT4
This evening in my neighborhood, I saw a pretty black and white cat
with a big fluffy tail, so I stopped to say hello to him, but he ran
away from me into a driveway. Just then, a man opened the front door
of the same house and stepped out, so I asked if this was his cat,
