warning to saxophone playing kitten photographers18 Aug 2007 03:56 GMT2
If you attempt to take a picture of a cute little ginger kitten
sitting in the bell of your sax:
- it is obviously a good idea to stuff something down the bell
to stop the kitten getting its feet caught in the toneholes
WEER IN DA MOVEES!!!17 Aug 2007 14:57 GMT9
I finally got around to using the video doohickey on my digital camera-- I'm
new at this, so the quality isn't very good--- but anyway, here you are,
with Stinky for a little close-up interaction.  Of course, Dante has to try
to butt in.
Paulette-kitty's brother!17 Aug 2007 13:37 GMT10
Went down to the vegetable store this evening (30-second walk) and
there was an elderly lady cuddling a kitten that looked exactly like
Paulette would look if her background tabby had been bleached to light
grey.  Same face, same dark-grey paw pads (Eeeek! thud) and same long
Small, but very close, earthquake17 Aug 2007 13:33 GMT3
There was a little earthquake here last night, just after midnight. I
finally read the report about it tonight, on the US Geological Survey
site. It was a mere 3.2, a baby among earthquakes. I was surprised it
was that small, because it felt strong to me. The reason for that? I
Two Headed Kitten? (not really)17 Aug 2007 08:28 GMT43
Here's some new pics of the babies at 9 weeks old. Still no luck
finding them homes. Look at this
pic and tell me, how can anyone NOT want them?

DOH!17 Aug 2007 05:14 GMT5
Da Boyz have the very hard and fast held philosophy about food and treats.
Their motto is, "Eat everybody else's food first and then go back for your
own."  It makes it very hard to give out treats to all the cats fairly.  I
have to play referee and grab at two little orinj ...
A good recipe to cook cats?17 Aug 2007 05:02 GMT12
I like to eat cats and I must admit that Angora cats are very
edible and incredibly yummy and it's time to cook and eat as many of
them as possible.
Yummy ! Tasty !
Had a very weird cat dream17 Aug 2007 00:02 GMT3
Okay, Persia is adorable but let's face it, she's fat (despite getting
strictly measured amounts of food per day and absolutely no treats or people
food).  I had a strange dream that someone shaved off her fur and it turned
out she only weighed 6 lbs.  When I woke up I had to check ...
Strange!16 Aug 2007 23:17 GMT4
The big cat tree we just bought is the first scratching post that Sammy has
ever been able to stretch upwards on.  She likes to scratch on sisal but
every scratching post in the house is about 3 feet too short for her to
stretch fully, vertically.  The sisal post on the new tree, ...
The purrs have worked - thank you!16 Aug 2007 21:55 GMT15
Cara is very definitely on the mend. :) The vet told me that her blood
tests showed that she had an elevated white blood cell count which was
indicative of infection, but her biochemistry was fine. :) He also
said that the mass they felt on Sunday couldn't be felt today, and it
What size are your cats?16 Aug 2007 21:46 GMT36
I thought Silver and Scouty were fairly average-sized felines, okay a
bit on the chubby side, but nothing extraordinary... The vet didn't
seem alarmed when they had their annual checkups (though as usual he
commented on how incredibly muscular and strong Scouty is!) But from a

Kayla wants to be a cat16 Aug 2007 21:38 GMT3
Kayla it would seem wants to be a cat.  Now she is a perfectly good dog, but
she can see that the cats have their privileges.  I mean no one ever opens
the door just to let her back in.  They certainly never come outside and
carry her in.  And as far as she can tell they don't ...

I see there is a tropical storm on the way to Corpus. Y'all are still
traveling? Are the cats secure?
