Buster's habits and video30 Aug 2007 11:17 GMT6
The other day, I was holding Buster upside-down in the crook of my
arm, the way he insists on being held.  He reached up and touched my
nose, so I said to him, "Yes, that's daddy's nose.  Can you say NOSE?"
Then I caught myself and thought how ridiculous I was being. :)

Hey Jill!  Do you remember if I ever posted a recipe for pecan pralines
here?  My daughter lost her recipe (it's one that calls for cream instead of
half and half).  I did a search on the group, but can't find anything.

I always read at least the first post in every thread, and we all purr and
pray here when right to do so, but my server burped or something so we are
extending blanket purrs to everyone so nothing gets missed, Lee

Update on Ceridwen29 Aug 2007 20:46 GMT5
Thanks for all the purrs and purrayers! Dwen is at my regular vets
right now, and my vet is thinking she has pylonephritis (sp?), or
Addisons disease. She say she has never seen Addisons in a cat, and
she has been a vet for 12 years now.
Dot and Buster?29 Aug 2007 15:23 GMT24
Okay, I'll admit I'm kind of addicted to the Dot and Buster story.
Any new installments? Any more licks or tandem greetings to their human?

so THAT's what it's for!28 Aug 2007 22:39 GMT4
Ollie (6 weeks, the biggest and most developed of our kittens) last
night discovered what the Big Cats' Litter Tray was for.  It's a
covered one with the entrance a few inches up.  Lots of straining
and heaving before he got himself inside, but then all the usual
[RB] Kitties from Fire28 Aug 2007 19:34 GMT4
Yet another case of kitties who wake their hoomins when a home fire
breaks out overnight, and yet another case of the kitties losing their
lives.

How is Yoda?28 Aug 2007 03:04 GMT4
Hi Sherry,
How is Yoda doing?  Does his eye seem to be healing, or won't you be able to
tell until the stitches are removed?

How did I end up with geriatric 4 year olds?28 Aug 2007 00:02 GMT17
Popped down to the vets yesterday to obtain suppliers of Hills for the
Fabulous Furballs. Picked up the lamb- they love that and noticed
(well it's not the first time I've noticed but it's the first time I
haven't been in a hurry) that the bag says 1-6 years
