I'm sorry to have to say that my friend had to have his cat Reynolds
put to sleep today. He was in advanced renal failure and was really
suffering. My friend spent some time with him beforehand and was able
to say goodbye.

We decided to treat ourselves and spent Saturday and Sunday
nights at an Econo Lodge in Raleigh, and went to see Weird Al in
concert on Sunday night.  We got home around 3 this afternoon.
Folks, if you get a chance to see Weird Al in concert, take it.

Well, I seem to be back after a fashion after weeks of computer agony I
wouldn't wish on some member of the current administration (OK, maybe I
would :P).

Hello. I have been lurking here lately. I was here a while back, and left
for personal reasons.  I am owned by two great cats - Andy a 7 year old
long haired grey tabby, and Mary a black short haired cat of
indeterminate age.

My dad is at home now, and glad to be out of the hospital. I went into his
room and his cat Lucy jumps off the bed, onto a nearby stepstool.
Lucy glares at me, telling me "He might have been your daddy once, but
he's MY DADDY NOW! So back off, dude!"

Buster is such a busy little cat.  He's always updating his itinerary,
always on the move, trilling, trotting, and running.
In the morning, he has to come and bug me in bed.  Last time, he came
to me trilling, and stuck a clammy whiskery snout in my ear.  Then, he

Yesterday morning my brother and SIL had to send Breeze their 9-year
Staffie across the Bridge.
It was rather sudden, Sheila (my SIL who regarded Breeze as "her dog")
