| Reynolds (RB) :( | 11 Aug 2007 22:32 GMT | 14 |
I'm sorry to have to say that my friend had to have his cat Reynolds put to sleep today. He was in advanced renal failure and was really suffering. My friend spent some time with him beforehand and was able to say goodbye.

We decided to treat ourselves and spent Saturday and Sunday nights at an Econo Lodge in Raleigh, and went to see Weird Al in concert on Sunday night. We got home around 3 this afternoon. Folks, if you get a chance to see Weird Al in concert, take it.

| Gakkkkk! And a purr request (Uh, Hi, Everybody!) | 11 Aug 2007 22:20 GMT | 14 |
Well, I seem to be back after a fashion after weeks of computer agony I wouldn't wish on some member of the current administration (OK, maybe I would :P). I can't possibly read everything I've missed-- but I have missed you all and

| Purr request | 11 Aug 2007 22:14 GMT | 23 |
Hello. I have been lurking here lately. I was here a while back, and left for personal reasons. I am owned by two great cats - Andy a 7 year old long haired grey tabby, and Mary a black short haired cat of indeterminate age.

| MY Daddy! | 11 Aug 2007 22:11 GMT | 7 |
My dad is at home now, and glad to be out of the hospital. I went into his room and his cat Lucy jumps off the bed, onto a nearby stepstool. Lucy glares at me, telling me "He might have been your daddy once, but he's MY DADDY NOW! So back off, dude!"

| Buster the pest | 11 Aug 2007 22:10 GMT | 12 |
Buster is such a busy little cat. He's always updating his itinerary, always on the move, trilling, trotting, and running. In the morning, he has to come and bug me in bed. Last time, he came to me trilling, and stuck a clammy whiskery snout in my ear. Then, he

| Purrs please for Breeze (RB) | 11 Aug 2007 22:09 GMT | 11 |
Can you spare some purrs for a d*g thing? Yesterday morning my brother and SIL had to send Breeze their 9-year Staffie across the Bridge. It was rather sudden, Sheila (my SIL who regarded Breeze as "her dog")

Here are some pics of the two kittens I am sponsoring. I wrote about them in this NG a few days ago. Chelsea and Carmen were cared for by two elderly women who rescued them from almost certain death. They were found beside a busy road, and their mother had been killed by ...

Marina, if you find colorful squares of paper that have been scrunched up into little balls hiding in dark corners of your home you'll know Barnabus has been to visit. He can be in the opposite end of the house and hear me open a tootsie Pop wrapper and he comes running at

| It was a good sleep | 10 Aug 2007 23:43 GMT | 4 |
I'm prone to strange dreams straight out of a JEM inspired night mare. But not last night. As usual I read until I was relaxed enough to try to sleep. While reading I noticed that Huey was snuggled up against my hind
