No worries19 Jul 2007 18:54 GMT21
I'd like to make this post "read only" but since I can't, I'm asking you all
to just skip the hateful claims and projections insisting that I posted
about the bite here because I'm "seeking attention", and the authoritative
"It wasn't a brown recluse, end of story" retorts from ...
Archer Lethargic, Not Eating19 Jul 2007 17:44 GMT31
I know it's probably just a reaction to getting his vaccinations last night,
but I've never had a kitten *this* affected by it.  Last night after getting
home from the vet, both Ozzie and Archer went under the couch in DH's office
and had (apparently) not moved as of 5:30AM this ...
Bandit (UK) and Snowball at TEDs - Purr Request19 Jul 2007 17:39 GMT16
Bandit (10yo white-and-black DSH) and Snowball (4yo Ragdoll) who will be
known to many of you are having general anaesthetics this morning: Snowball
for a dental + an extraction - bad daddy for not getting it done sooner -
and Bandit for a cleanup dental, blood & urine sampling ...
Archer and Ozzie Update19 Jul 2007 17:35 GMT1
Both boys, while still sneezing just a bit, are outrageously healthy and
have almost doubled their weight and size in the last three weeks - and they
*should* have, they eat like any teen-aged boy does!!!
Purr And Prayer Request19 Jul 2007 17:31 GMT10
This was posted in another cat group just moments ago.  I had to speak out.
I know everyone hates cruelty stories being posted specially by me but I had
to do it.  This little ones need our purrs
This poor kitty named Adam he was set a fire by these two teenage girls. The
Tayla Update19 Jul 2007 17:22 GMT3
Thank goodness, it's definitely not Hypertrophic Myocardiopathy or a heart
murmur.  Dr. French listened to her heart for a full 5 minutes and heard no
trace of a problem - he said her heartbeat rate was normal and there was no
irregularities.
Furminator experience19 Jul 2007 16:34 GMT1
The Furminator, as most of you know, is a deshedding tool, looking
sort of like a flea comb with a long handle.  I used it on both Dot
and Burt, and as it's reputed to do, it does remove a surprising
amount of fur.  As I run it through their coats, it does have sort of
Drying rack redux19 Jul 2007 15:54 GMT4
Scouty and Silver lost interest in the drying rack towel fairly
quickly when they realised that wet stuff was dripping off the
clothes... but after I put the laundry away this afternoon Tessica
'found' the towel and she decided that it was put there just for
Brown recluse got me18 Jul 2007 22:20 GMT59
Can someone tell me the cure? I can't afford to get very ill right now. It
just happened an hour ago. Caught the little bugger in the act but too late
to stop it biting.
Meowmie's CHEATING on us!!!18 Jul 2007 20:36 GMT5
Imp here,
I know Meowmie disappears all day cause she's a slave to TED, and she
comes home smelling like all different kinds of animals.
But this time she's gone TOO FAR!!!
My cat Tom18 Jul 2007 20:33 GMT6
Hello!!!
I have a cat whose name is Tom. He has been recently diagnosed with
diabetes. It is really sad news for me and my family, cause we treat
him like a family member and love him so much.
Why don't I ever learn?!18 Jul 2007 20:26 GMT13
I eat in front of the TV in my living room (got rid of my hand-me-down
dinette set a few years ago in hopes of getting one I liked).  I had
"breakfast" for dinner.  I had one strip of bacon on the plate and the phone
rang.  I ran to pick it up.  30 seconds later, the bacon is gone ...

Today was 7 years since Fission celebrated her 20th,
and last, birthday with us. From her 1st birthday to her last,
she always had shrimp on her birthday. My wife and I decided
Joke (on topic)18 Jul 2007 04:26 GMT1
A poor little lonely old lady lived in a house with only her cat as a
friend.  One day, the lights went out as she sat knitting; she had been
unable to pay the electric bill.  So, she went up to the attic and got
an old oil lamp from her childhood.  As she rubbed it clean a genie
