I played with an Itty Bitty today21 Jul 2007 16:55 GMT4

That brown recluse thing21 Jul 2007 16:43 GMT17
Can this nasty thing cause symptoms that mimic pneumonia, and cause general
blood sepsis and gastrointestinal infection? I wonder if this is the case

At Long Last21 Jul 2007 15:51 GMT8

She was 1 1/2 when we got her, and had just raised a litter of kittens on
her own.  She didn't want to be touched and fought being picked up.  She
Bandit (UK) and Snowball at TEDs - UPDATE21 Jul 2007 15:46 GMT10
Not too good :(
Snowball lost 3 teeth. :( :(  It's small consolation to know that he would
probably even have lost them on an annual (instead of 2-year) cleaning cycle
as he has the longhaired cats' apparent genetic vulnerability to poor tooth
Tayla's Visit21 Jul 2007 15:01 GMT17
We let Tayla out for a supervised visit with all the rest of the Crews'
crew, but first we once again clipped all 18 claws on all 6 cats so that

Speak out about dog-fighting -Tell NFL Commisioner to suspend Michael Vick!20 Jul 2007 23:41 GMT7
I thought you might be interested in this HSUS campaign to
persuade the NFL to punish football player and alleged
dogfighter Michael Vick appropriately. Now that a grand jury has
indicted Michael Vick on federal animal fighting
The Biggest Difference Between Cats and Dogs20 Jul 2007 20:32 GMT1
"In order to keep a true perspective on one's importance, everyone
should have a dog that will worship him and a cat that will ignore
him." - Dereke Bruce - from the cats section of www.odd-info.com
Chibi sighting???!!!20 Jul 2007 15:18 GMT25
Chibi, my disappeared cat (as of Feb.), may have been seen by my
cousin's husband!
Chibi was my cousin's family's cat for three years; she was just a
bitty stray when she showed up with her (nursing) mother in their

A Small Rant20 Jul 2007 05:04 GMT23
Now that I know Archer is OK, I remembered a rant I was going to give...
My vet has two entrances and two waiting areas - one for cats and one for
dogs.  They do this specifically so that their feline clients don't get
scared or upset.  When Ben and I went in the cat entrance last ...
