My brother had two cats for a very long time (siblings, a tiger & white named Tommy, and a Tuxie named Jerry), when they got to be around 18 years old, their health failed them, one at a time. For the past couple of years, he's sworn that he will NEVER(!!!!) get anymore pets - ...

| Dubious new kitten skill. | 08 Jul 2007 14:03 GMT | 7 |
The babies have learned to urinate by themselves, without having their bottoms stimulated. Unfortunately, they haven't grasped the whole peeing concept yet, so they pee all over each other while

| A (Cat's) Profile In Courage | 07 Jul 2007 23:48 GMT | 18 |
I am amazed by the courage of cats. We all know the story of Scarlet and how she continued to run back into a burning warehouse to rescue her kittens even through her ears were burned to nubs. But I am also in awe of the everyday, quite courage displayed by the cats in our ...

| The Spice Boys | 07 Jul 2007 22:35 GMT | 5 |
We buy the cheap store-bought pizzas (I call them skinny pizzas), then tart them up the way we like them at home. Senyah likes pepperoni, so I add a few more slices of pepperoni to hers. I like Sausage and pepperoni, and add pepperoni, extra

| I couldn't find her! | 07 Jul 2007 22:15 GMT | 16 |
Persia hid from me so well last night. I actually thought she might have gotten outside, although I'm careful she doesn't. But I was taking trash outside and maybe I wasn't so careful with shutting the door first? I searched everywhere. Behind everything. Closets, pantry, under ...

| StinkyVersary Time | 07 Jul 2007 22:06 GMT | 20 |
It's that time again. Sixteen years ago, I brought home the skinny, dirty, sticky kitten from the subway tracks. He is my joy. He is my heart. HE IS STINKY!!!!!

| THE BITTY IS IN!!!!!!! | 07 Jul 2007 22:02 GMT | 12 |
We'd tried twice before... third time's the charm. My daughter got Paulette to come in the house while I was out shopping! Emma is thrilled, Cherry is irritated, and Paulette is out of hiding (took about 30 minutes) and is chasing Emma

| Phase One Begins | 07 Jul 2007 21:22 GMT | 10 |
Or rather phase 1.1 since phase 1.0 was to move Tayla from my office downstairs to the bedroom next door to the kittens upstairs. Now that everyone is feeling *MUCH* better after a week of medication (they still have 3 days to go), I figured I could begin the slow introduction.
