Please could I have some good luck purrs?13 Jul 2007 21:58 GMT20
Please could I have some good luck purrs? I have a job interview with
the UK Environment Agency on Wednesday morning, and I really want the
job! It's all been a bit sudden, but the short version is that I've
been semi-headhunted for a great job, but still have to go through a

If I did this right, you should be able to see my cat pics.

There is a sub-album migrated from Yahoo which has most of them.
These pictures were taken with a PDA because I don't own a digicam.
Angelique  RB13 Jul 2007 21:52 GMT18
My brother is a bit torn up today and will be for awhile as his
diminutive, ghostly white, loudly demanding, princess kitty has gone
to the Bridge.  Angelique, named after a character in the cult classic
TV show Dark Shadows, was buried in my brother's yard along side
It's County Fair tiime (for USA'ns)13 Jul 2007 17:59 GMT4
Anyone have any items they're entering in the fair?  Liz & Dianna coerced me
into entering some of the stuff I've done into the open-class needle work
category(they have all the stuff, it's been tagged, and they will be setting
up all of it next week, since they are in charge of ...
Lifeline Animal Rescue in New Jersey13 Jul 2007 05:49 GMT2
They've got so many sweet babies waiting for homes!
Go to http://www.lifelinerescue.org/ and click "Cats for Adoption" link.
New Jersey is a small state but it has 353 shelters listing with Petfinder.
Amazing... How come so many NJ folks abandon their pets?
A breakthrough for Billy12 Jul 2007 22:34 GMT5
I was swabbing out Abelard's ears a while ago when Billy got up on the sofa
next to us to watch. As soon as Abelard was finished, Billy pushed his way
in and *asked* me to swab out his ears (which didn't need to be swabbed at
all) just for the *pleasure* of it.

Purrs for rainmin central Utah12 Jul 2007 22:18 GMT15
May we have some purrs for rain in central Utah where 283,000 acres are on
fire?  Also for the wild animals that live in that area?   Homes  and
building have also burned.  Please send purrs for those who fight the
fires too.   All purrs will be sincerely appreciated.  MLB
One Thousand Lurkers?12 Jul 2007 22:15 GMT15
This is really weird. Remember I posted the link to the kitten photos?
I set up an account with
Webshots just for that, and this is the only place I posted the link.
I didn't even e-mail it to anyone else yet.
Lost Cat Painting Found12 Jul 2007 20:19 GMT17
John's been up in Rochester clearing out the (mostly junk) from his mom's
house.  He had friends helping him.  Dave yelled, "John, look what I found!"
Oh good lord, it's a painting he did in 1968 of a cat!  I have a photo of
him standing next to it, see below:

Theresa, this is especially for you because you love LOLCats, but
everyone should look because it's ADORABLE:

Mowsie12 Jul 2007 07:30 GMT4
Boyfie has caught a mouse and is actually eating it himself.  He has never
done that, he gives everything he catches to KFC, he has always claimed
anything that isn't in a tin, foil tray, or pouch is inedible.
I think we need a fanfare here.
SERIOUS Eeek-thud-ness12 Jul 2007 07:08 GMT18
Not a cat, but the cuteness is still overwhelming:

Heat in the US12 Jul 2007 02:56 GMT18
Everyone be careful with the temperatures in the 90's or above.
If you can put out extra water for the animals that don't have slaves to
care for them. I had a squirrel  drinking from my bird bath today.

still no takers?12 Jul 2007 02:35 GMT5
No one has requested the RPCA book MYSTERY CATS
that is being circulated. I will be happy to mail it to any
country if anyone wants it. If nobody wants it right now
I will hold on to it until someone does. If you want it,
