I missed your recent new posts but have seen the pics & video. So happy that

I'm visiting my brother, niece, greatniece, niece's husband, two d*gs
and Mary, the cat in Annapolis, Maryland.
Mary is indoor-outdoor and I always take the indoor option when it is
my cat but she seems very well-adjusted and there doesn't seem to be

Remember the spiritual "Follow the Drinking Gourd"?  Well around here
it is "Follow the Drinking Straws" since I found a trail of them (at
least eight, and in all different colors) leading down the stairs this
morning.  

I ordered (by mistake) a five-pound bag of sweet whey, and didn't
discover it until I opened it.  As soon as I did, though, Pi showed a
marked interest.  So I put a teaspoonful or so into his dish, and he
licked it up.

We're thinking about "Archer" and "Ozzy" for the boys and "Jade" for little
mama but nothing's set in stone yet - we'll have to wait until they pick
their own names before we'll know for sure.
In the meantime suggestions on what to suggest to them are still very

I just met the girl's Mom (Pat) & DH at their workplace.  Her daughter,
Sarah, came to meet us all there, and DH & I handed over Pong/Sajja.
He cried all the way over there, but once we stopped moving and I moved his
carrier to the front so he could see me, and opened the windows ...

So he's decided to help me work by rubbing his great fat head against
the monitors on my desk, sitting between the keyboard and the monitor,
interrupting conference calls to complain about the level of attention
he's getting and head butting my hand as I try to use the mouse :-) ...
