DH's co-worker's daughter will take "Pong" - but they said he will likely be renamed as "pong" sounds too much like 'bong" :P Bad thing is that they can't take him until July/August, when their daughter moves to her new apartment - she will be attending Purdue Univ. in West

Your purrs and prayers have helped me and DH so much - I read the emails to him and he is amazed at how many people responded. Adrian, thank you so much for setting up the Candle - I tried to set one up a couple weeks ago for my son's Spenser. DS got up one morning, played

Please could Milo have some RB purrs as she makes her journey today? Milo owns my 86 year old next door neighbour, Mary, and today, because she has cancer of the kidneys and her quality of life has deteriorated so much, Mary has had to make the decision to let her go to Rainbow

When I was young, pretty much all the cats I knew loved to sleep on your chest at night. None of the current crew likes to do this, they prefer an arm, a leg, an armpit etc. I put this down to the failing firmness of my tummy. Like a horse on an unsafe bridge, they don't want to ...

| Purrs Needed | 05 Jun 2007 20:01 GMT | 16 |
Please send purrs that I can get our vet out to our house today so Bandit doesn't have to suffer any more. I know I waited too long and, even though I don't think she's in pain (she's still eating and drinking a little and using her litterbox), she isvery, very weak. She walks ...

| Barbarian! | 05 Jun 2007 13:47 GMT | 2 |
I was out in the yard Saturday putting up my shed. The culmination of a month of stumping, digging, filling, compacting and putting down the foundation. Yay! So I was a tad warm Staurday night, even though the house was not too bad. Like one of those days after too much sun, when ...

| Just had to share (OT) | 05 Jun 2007 13:40 GMT | 3 |
Went to the store and was wearing one of the t-shirts from an art show last year. Each year they celebrate one of the exhibiting artists on the t-shirt. Last years' winner had done a painting of a compilation of other famous paintings - Whistler's Mother, something by Dali, ...

Just got an email from Dave, which I thought I'd share This morning when I got up, Sarsi was crashed out in Dave's wheelchair. She demanded a few skritchies, inspected her breakfast and then went back to sleep

| OTP: Need some calming purrs | 04 Jun 2007 21:49 GMT | 30 |
As most of you know, I had a cochlear implant a couple of years ago that has dramatically improved my ability to communicate. Without it I am profoundly deaf. While I have had no problems with the way the device works, some of the

I'm assuming the recent tornadoes didn't hit where you live. How are you liking the Iowa weather so far? I imagine it's a bit more... energetic... than you all were used to in California >^.^< Jeanne Hedge

| Well it's taken four years | 04 Jun 2007 16:57 GMT | 3 |
If there's one thing the Fabulous Furballs have always been a bit funny about it's being picked up. The woman who was owned by their mum hadn't any experience with kittens and the first time she picked them up was to bring them to where I was waiting to collect them. When I

| Problem - Bandit and Ben | 04 Jun 2007 11:37 GMT | 31 |
When I woke up this morning Bandit was not in bed with me, I found her hiding behind the sofa in my sitting room and she wouldn't come out for me when I brought food. I had to pull the sofa out and pick her up. When I set her down in front of her food she only sniffed it and ...
