| Moving across country with 3 cats, suggestions? | 23 May 2007 02:28 GMT | 23 |
I will fly (Indiana --> California), and one option is to take the cats as "checked luggage". Problem is that most airlines only accept 2 carriers, and do not allow 2 pets/carrier. Another option is to ship the cats separately as air cargo, but I'm not

| Wellness brand cat food? | 23 May 2007 01:47 GMT | 16 |
Well, after all my talk about making my cats' food, I decided to table that project for now. There's a lot to learn about nutrition - a cat's needs, and the nutritional content of whatever meat I'd be serving them - so that I'd know how much to make up in supplements.

| Ever see this? | 22 May 2007 19:38 GMT | 9 |
I got up this morning, stumbling through the house all bleary-eyed, and I see this looking down on me http://thumb0.webshots.net/t/57/757/4/24/48/2740424480047371020boTyxx_th.jpg and the next picture

OK, I'm cruel. I played these for the boys tonight. They weren't as effective as other meows that I've played before but they sure got Otis' attention! Do your owners react? http://www.kessels.com/CatSounds/index.html

| Way Beyond Cute! Tiny White Kitten | 21 May 2007 16:08 GMT | 10 |
I stumbled on this video of an itty bitty while kitty - possibly a meezer - playing with a big dog, same kind of dog I had in Arizona (excellent dog). Beware, unbearable cuteness awaits you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULlsVcW5bRI

| Pam update: 5/19 | 21 May 2007 09:30 GMT | 2 |
She is recovering from the surgery as well as can be expected, she has a couple of nurses that are very good, and she is finally getting them to feed her the right stuff, and she is really ready to be out of there. She is very upbeat, and practical at the same time. of all I have ...

| My Clowder of Snaggers | 20 May 2007 16:02 GMT | 1 |
Eli used to be the only one who'd reach out and snag my sleeve when I tried to walk away from him after petting, but since they've all been cooped up together in the house for 15 months, every one of them does the same thing now. They learn tricks from each other!

| Keep cat from climbing 4" wood post? | 20 May 2007 02:45 GMT | 6 |
I'd like to let my kitties into a patio area but want to stop them from being able to get out. Mongo, an atheletic siamese cat, has already learned that he can climb a big support pole in the middle, get up to the trellis above and then to the roof where he can roam the townhouse ...

Quick survey for my own information *if you're a renter*: Did you have to pay a pet deposit? If so, how much was it? Is it a one-time deposit or do you have to pay it again when your lease is

| Smudge: early warning system; plus! Roxy pulls a Stinky! | 19 May 2007 22:40 GMT | 3 |
I got home tonight about 10 minutes ago, and as usual, Smudge greeted me on the sidewalk in front of my building. But as soon as I started to head up the stairs, Smudge stopped and craned her neck, as if peering into the stairwell, or trying to hear something. So I asked her what
