Vet Tech Journals:  Ow......05 Apr 2007 21:26 GMT19
I've been dealing with a crick in my neck that i've been suffering
with since Sunday.
So this morning I wake up in a lot of pain, and yet I dragged my butt
into the car and drove to work.
No peaches this year - OT05 Apr 2007 19:11 GMT10
My peach trees have flowered and now there's a freeze coming :(
A new ginger neighbour05 Apr 2007 13:37 GMT28
I've noticed a fluffy ginger cat around a few times, which has really stood
out since there are only a handful of cats in the neighbourhood.  I never
got to meet him until today.
I opened the front door to let Chester out and we came face to face with the
Silhouette of Sophie05 Apr 2007 13:34 GMT6
You're probably sitting at your computer with an unobstructed view of
the screen. Not me. I have to move aside the head of a silhouette
aside to see what I'm writing. Our dear chubby little black Sophie is
sitting directly in front of me, reading every word I write. Actually,

Our furry mistresses did us a favour last night.
I've had a couple of worries about Dave's mum and dad (Long story- it's
mentioned on the BIG thread for anyone interested) and also I have been
meaning to ask the friend who is setting the network up when he's gonna come
Knock 3 times05 Apr 2007 10:55 GMT5
I'm sitting at home last nigth watching telly and chatting to Dave when I
hear this tapping noise at the front door.
I thought it had to be our neighbour who always taps really quietly so I went
and opened the door and was about to say "Hi, Esther"
Splodge as Daddy cat05 Apr 2007 10:53 GMT9
I don't get this.  Look at the pictures of Splodge, Marblecake and
Marblecake's kittens on my website: http://www.purr.demon.co.uk/Cats/
It doesn't look very likely to me that Splodge could be the father.
The kittens tend to associate in pairs that look alike - Gerald and
My cat has taken over my computer.... Help!!!05 Apr 2007 01:43 GMT3
My cat, Pippy, has taken over my computer and I'm getting scared!
Apparently this cat is capable of furiously pawing mostly coherent
English about his life....... who would of thought that this cat
actually has something to say...  albeit, it's mostly anti-human
B***ard cat trick04 Apr 2007 21:43 GMT7
I was lying in bed this morning, you know, at the stage when you're half
awake, grimly aware that you can hear rain on the window and you're
desperately trying to snatch the last 5 minutes before another cheerful day
at work when...just to finish me off, I heard a feline puking. Oh ...
Bedtime sabotage04 Apr 2007 20:33 GMT8
Just now, after Vino had finished his bedtime snack, he went to the loo
for a pre-bed poop.  But afterwards, he came charging down the hallway
at breakneck speed instead of his usual cool and casual saunter.
This immediately raised my suspicions since post-pooping scurrying is
Ping Pam S (Tanada)04 Apr 2007 20:22 GMT4
Pam,
I can't remember, do you have a video camera? You should be making
lots of video as well as the pictures you are making. I have a video
camera I would like to send to you if you don't already have one.  It
Neverending Cuteness04 Apr 2007 19:04 GMT4
It's Beatrice and Abelard again. Let me explain....
We have two oblong planters full of kitty grass. I rotate them from indoors
to out so they don't turn yellow. Both planters are about a foot long and
maybe 5" across and 5" deep. The grass sticks up about 6-7" from the top of

Question for long-haired owners04 Apr 2007 10:11 GMT11
I mean, long-haired cats owners. :)
Do you trim the fur in the butt of your cats? How do you do it?
Scissors? Trimmers?
Rufous had a big clump of poo this morning, so I helped him by trimming
