Out of touch for a few days...19 Mar 2007 22:50 GMT25
This afternoon is my final day at my current employer, and tomorrow is our
last full day at our current residence. We're going to load up the truck
this afternoon and tomorrow (Saturday), then bright and early Sunday
morning we're loading ourselves and the kitties into the van and ...
We're outa here (update)19 Mar 2007 22:48 GMT7
The doctor just gave Jim the O.K. to leave the hospital.
We are packing up and, after I navigate my way through the check out
process,  we will be on our way back to Rosie & Cinder's healing purrs.
Annie, happy dancing
Happy St. Patrick's Day!19 Mar 2007 13:49 GMT10
My late grandmother would say "Are you going to City Hall and getting
your @$$ painted green?"  ;)
I would visualize a line up to City Hall, and stretching around the
corner. ;)
The Undisputed Queen19 Mar 2007 10:00 GMT3
She rules the clowder. No doubt about it, Baby Eyes (the oldest cat in my
house) ownz everyone. They are HER babies. She licks them more than they
lick themselves. Proof is in the fact that she horks up more hairballs than
all the others combined. Depending on her mood of the ...
TW  but a happy ending19 Mar 2007 04:22 GMT9
My son just heard on the evening News about a garbage truck in Denver.
One of the men lifted the lid to a large dumpster before hooking it
onto the back of the truck. But inside the dumpster he saw a large cat
carrier and it was meowing! So he signaled the backing truck to stop.
totally confused by the recall18 Mar 2007 23:38 GMT4
I have Lily on IAMS dry food kibble, so I know this is safe. She gets this
everyday. Twice a week I also give her, as a treat, a pouch of the MEOW
MIX cuts in gravy and she gets MEOW MIX DRUMSTICKS as a treat
everyday.
Annie's Jim update18 Mar 2007 23:26 GMT10
If his next blood test comes out as expected, Jim will be released from the
hospital tomorrow.
Yay!

Tessie and the Bastard Cat Trick18 Mar 2007 23:20 GMT13
This morning I was cuddling with Scouty and I realised I hadn't seen
Tessie for HOURS. I called her name and she didn't come... so I got
out the treat bag and rustled it. Silver appeared as if by magic, but
still no Tessie. I walked around opening all the cupboards in case

RB for a swan18 Mar 2007 23:08 GMT11
There is a bedroom community in the city where I live which has
a large lake. A whole bunch of ducks, geese and one swan live
on that lake. There are signs all over the community which tell
drivers to stop and let the birds cross the roads to go to the lake.
New pictures18 Mar 2007 23:07 GMT14
I uploaded some new pictures to my Photobucket account. There are a few
of Mir-Mir being cute on the cat tree, Caliban showing off his ample
tummy, and both cats enjoying the sun out in the enclosure.

What a mess this recall is18 Mar 2007 22:25 GMT2
What a nightmare this recall has been.  People are plain just nuts and I
don't blame them.  I know I was when I found some of the recall products on
my shelf.  I am hoping for the best that none of my pack will have any
problems. Specially Rumble who has diabetes and used to be ...
Petfood recall - what substitute foods are still for sale?18 Mar 2007 18:49 GMT2
The Pet Supermarket wasn't selling any canned catfood yesterday except
for Purina Pro-plan plus, 'Wellness' gourmet food, and Merricks 'five
star gourmet entrees'... so far the cats have outright rejected both
gourmet foods because they 'looked wrong', and I'm not holding out
Cat/Dog Food Recall Brands/Codes18 Mar 2007 17:51 GMT10
More info? Or maybe just lots of info in 1 place?
http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/03/17/petfood.recall.ap/index.html
The major cat and dog food recall is for what's described as "cuts and
gravy" type food - chunks of meat in gravy, sold in cans and small
What happened to spring18 Mar 2007 06:06 GMT9
Wednesday we had 65 degree weather and today it is snowing. We have about 6
inches of snow on the ground and it will be changing to ice and freezing
rain.
