YIKES!  Sorry, Dante22 Mar 2007 00:15 GMT2
The mail came today in a rubber-banded together clump.  I retrieved
it, then tossed it on the daybed to check out later.  It landed on a
decided LUMP in the bedclothes, and Dante's head popped out looking
all "Whoa!-- WTF??"  I had a lot of apologizing to do-- lucky he
Helping the repairman21 Mar 2007 23:11 GMT4
Had a repairman come to my apartment today to fix my modem.  It had
gone out and I haven't been on the net for about 4 days.
Well Mischief had to inspect him and of course rub up against him
too.
Persia Supervises21 Mar 2007 22:45 GMT1
Just at the moment I'd unplugged Persia's Drinkwell pet fountain and picked
it up she sauntered in to get a drink.  Oh NO!  Where's she taking my
fountain?!
I keep the fountain on a mat in my bedroom.  I took it into the bathroom and

Cruising cats notice21 Mar 2007 12:03 GMT24
I'm sorry to report that due to Jim's recent medical problem, we will not
resume our cruise this year.  Instead, we have found an apartment and will
build a house here while Jim recuperates.
He is doing well, but needs periodic blood tests and will bleed easily if he

Mommy, we're HOOOOLIGANS!!!20 Mar 2007 17:14 GMT6
I've just had a very special first ferret-experience....
I was washing up my dishes by hand. Miss Lily Whiskers likes to
supervise by sitting on the windowsill by the sink and playing with
the soap bubbles. All of a sudden, out of no-where, I had a pair of
I'm soooo sowwy!20 Mar 2007 17:07 GMT1
I had one of those incredibly bad insomniac nights.  Didn't get to sleep
until about 4AM and then I had very weird dreams which kept waking me back
up.  I guess I *finally* fell into a deep sleep around 6:30.
Now I know I'm not supposed to but I gave Persia a bit of kibble around
In Flight Meals20 Mar 2007 17:00 GMT5
Today really seemed like spring and we were all outside taking advantage
of the weather.  Charlie was cleaning out the garage and getting the yard
and garden tools and supplies organized.  I was trying to work out the
details of lawn swing assemble.
We have a dog!20 Mar 2007 15:17 GMT60
And World War 3 has not yet erupted ;-)  In fact, she is scared of the
cats and won't cross their paths! I think they are learning this quite
fast and are not so alarmed by her as they were at first.
Anyway, her name is Daisy, she arrived on Monday and she is a German
Feliway in Canada?20 Mar 2007 06:44 GMT4
My friend who moved to Toronto recently and adopted a cat from a shelter
needs some Feliway. The poor kitty has probably been abused in her
former home, and I recommended my friend try Feliway to see if she'll
calm down. I assume that it is available in Canada. Can anyone ...
Justice - mostly19 Mar 2007 23:34 GMT2
You might remember a case in the Atlanta area that I mentioned a
couple of months ago.  There was a petition online requesting that the
two young men who were accused of killing a dog in a horrific manner
be given a maximum sentence if found guilty.  One juror on the case
Spring has Sprung in Atlanta Georgia19 Mar 2007 23:06 GMT4
We had pollen counts in the 700s this week.  Tonight I came home and
found Lacey with swollen eyes. Her left eye is almost totally closed
and watery. Every year at about this same time she suffers with
allergies.  It makes me wonder how she lived as a stray for years
mostly-good health news19 Mar 2007 23:01 GMT10
A few weeks ago, I posted a message about having to visit the lung
doctor again, because my sleep apnea had gotten worse.  As it turned
out, I didn't have to go through a full sleep study, but instead wore
a blood-oxygen sensor clipped to my finger all one night, recording my
