Annie's chemo - round 223 Mar 2007 20:31 GMT6
Wed. Annie had her second round of chemo.  There's good/bad news.  The
vet noticed the growth has shrunk, however she now has a growth on the
side of her tongue.  We haven't scheduled a 3rd session yet, the vet
wants her to come in weekly for the next 2 weeks and get a shot that
A conversation with Vino23 Mar 2007 19:48 GMT35
Last night I got up at 3 am to pee.  When I got back in bed, Vino
cuddled up next to my face, leaning against the pillow.  As I was
drifting off to sleep again, I involuntarily made this high pitched sigh
in the back of my throat.  A few seconds later, Vino made the exact same
Pictures: Caliban on my shoulder23 Mar 2007 05:31 GMT13
I tried to take a picture of Caliban in one of his frequent sleeping
spots, hanging over my shoulder, but my arm is too short, so the
proportions look very weird. Also, he's a ham, so he had to turn and
look into the camera when I shot the pics, but you can just make out his
Are all your cats OK?23 Mar 2007 04:46 GMT36
I hope and pray that none of our kitties had any of the toxic food that is
being recalled, or if they did, they were not harmed beyond repair. I
checked all of ours and did not find a problem. It's kind of hard for me to
believe anything can go wrong with wheat gluten, but if ...
HELP! Cat has habit of licking it's tummy removing fur! WHY??!!23 Mar 2007 04:03 GMT19
I just had lunch with a friend who told me her cat has been licking his
tummy in one spot - for all it's life, leaving a bald spot!
Why would a cat do this?
Indoor / outdoor, 7 years old, other than the licking - acts perfectly
Home at last!22 Mar 2007 22:16 GMT7
Last week, my company sent me to Boston to work with some of the
engineers in our Concord (Massachusetts) office. The plan was for me
to fly out on Monday, work from Tuesday to Thursday, and fly back on
Friday. That was the "mystery" behind my St Patrick's Day post. The
Vet Tech Journals: Mango22 Mar 2007 21:42 GMT2
Some of you may remember Mango, who was signed over to us when an
owner couldn't afford to pay for the medical care Mango needed and
didn't want to euthanize.
Well Mango has been at our hospital since last November thereabouts

WHOA! Sorry, Stinky!22 Mar 2007 21:03 GMT4
I definitely owe my boys some special treetskies today!  We just got
Dante settled back down happily upstairs.  I was working downstairs
and had some music on to keep me cheerful. The B-52s, to be exact.
Well, I'm a  trained soprano, and I can hit some of those notes with
My Brave Bandit22 Mar 2007 18:08 GMT29
I know it's been a while since I posted - seems like every time I do lately
it gets pretty much ignored (did I get kill-filed by everyone for something
I wrote???)  But since I really miss my rpca friends, I figured I'd give it
one more try.  So, here's a story of feline bravery ...
I Finally Saw a Video!!22 Mar 2007 15:41 GMT23
I just got to dump my old dial-up internet connection. Now I can
*finally* see the short videos & games that you all always talk about!
First one I tried was "Cat Herding" (thanks for the link!). Priceless!

Vet Tech Journals: We were CATNAPPED!!!!22 Mar 2007 14:41 GMT2
This is Mayhem, I've hijacked Meowmie's computer to write this entry
so that other cats may benefit from our experience.  Imp and I were
CATNAPPED a while back, and tonight Meowmie left on her compewter so I
am able to relate our story.
Quinn takes the plunge22 Mar 2007 09:31 GMT5
One of Quinn's favorite games is mock fear, e.g. seeing something or
somebody and, tail up, taking off at full speed.  Well, this morning
when I opened the backdoor he did just that, except he failed to
remember he was sitting by the pool and in he plunged, he was climbing
