| Was that thing a tapeworm fragment?? | 17 Feb 2007 17:10 GMT | 9 |
I got a nasty shock tonight. My cat jumped on the desk, and rubbed against my hands. After that I noticed a small cylindrical thing on my finger...it was whitish, maybe 5 mm long, 1 mm wide, and it was moving very slowly. A brief web search seems to suggest it was a tapeworm

This is disgusting! I wrote a few days ago in a thread in h+b to defend some of the HSUS practices, but this is absolutely revolting. Read what the Houston Humane Society (note: Houston, not the national HSUS) is advertising as a "Valentine's Day special" for cats (free ...

I've been offline a few days-- and just got DSL. I know, I'm the last on the planet. Anyway, I don't think I can get through about 2000 messages, so we're sending you all all-purpose purrs. The snowstorm came through, then everything froze. I have a serious

| Attack of the Shopping bag! | 15 Feb 2007 20:53 GMT | 2 |
John bought me a beautiful box of chocolates for valentines day and it came in a lovely presentation bag with tissue paper in it... I left the bag sitting out in the livingroom for the cats to play with, and Tessie jumped in and out of it quite a few times yesterday. She just

| Miss Pua | 15 Feb 2007 18:17 GMT | 66 |
I finally got a decent picture of Pua. She was sitting in my chair, looking at me and sat still enough for me to get the camera. The stripe on her body is a shadow from the arm of the chair; her body is basically white.
