Purrs for kilikini20 Feb 2007 22:08 GMT21
She and her husband left around 4AM this morning to head to the Mayo Clinic
in Jacksonville, Florida for a check-up.  And she's very much afraid (in
fact, convinced) that the agressive tumor has come back.  So some purrs that
it's just scar tissue, not an acutal tumor, would be in ...

Harrie is not eating or eating gingerly.  TED says his mouth is acting

purrs please20 Feb 2007 22:06 GMT13
I just dropped off Annie at the vet's.  She's 12 yrs old and about a
month ago she started not eating as much and I noticed she was licking
her lips / making a smacking sound.
We knew she needed her teeth cleaned but the vet I was going to said
Update on Roxy: inconclusive20 Feb 2007 22:02 GMT24
Roxy spent today at the animal hospital having tests. The doctor is
now certain that herpes is not causing this, but he doesn't know what
is. Her eye itself is fine, though. The problem is in the
conjunctiva. She was anesthetized while they poked and prodded at the
Check in Indiana - and other blizzard areas20 Feb 2007 21:59 GMT6
As I sit here in Lafayette, having just received 20 inches of snow, I'm
wondering how Jeanne in Indianapolis is doing and how MMJ in Bloomington
are doing. There was more ice in that direction and maybe just as much snow.
We are under a snow emergency because there is too much ...
Tony approves20 Feb 2007 21:56 GMT5
I just got a brand new lap top - very delightful thing. I can compute
anywhere I want, including the recliner in the living room. Whilst I was
typing, Tony decided he would come and lay across my upper arm and chest
from the arm of the recliner. He purred so loud and stretched ...
It's Lennie's birthday!20 Feb 2007 21:55 GMT7
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LENNIE!
Today marks 12 years with Lennie, which makes him (nominally) 14
(fourteen) years old!
I have reported before on this occasion.

Scare me into a heart attack20 Feb 2007 21:50 GMT8
I got up from my chair in the office a minute ago and found my front door
standing wide open.  My first thought: Persia!
I called and yelled for her inside the apartment while I was grabbing my
coat, shoes, a flashlight.  She'd gone outside (did the little bugger open
Totally OT - could you possibly purr for a rabbit?20 Feb 2007 21:48 GMT42
I think I've told you all before about my friend Bob in Michigan who pretty
well rescues any animal or bird that needs it.
He sent me this mail tonight..

Could I please have some purrs for Soncek?20 Feb 2007 21:20 GMT85
I was hesitant to ask for purrs for Soncek since so many kitties and
humans seem to need them more at the moment. But Soncek is not well. He
vomited clear fluid on Wednesday so I took him to the vet on Thursday
morning. They did an ultrasound and they took his blood and both were ...
My furlined potty seat20 Feb 2007 20:10 GMT8
Lately my Xena has been extremely interested in the toilet.   Last night I
got up around 1 am or so to use the facilities...and I do this in the dark so
I don't wake myself up too much.  As I sat down there was this warm fur seat
I didn't know was there.  She had been sleeping right ...
I do hope the neighbours weren't watching20 Feb 2007 18:07 GMT35
Earlier today I opened the front door and there was Waffles, sat with vole
firmly clamped in her jaws. She did as she always does and presented her
gift to me by dropping it at my feet.
Problem is that these days, Waffles being an elderly feline, she's missing
new kittens!20 Feb 2007 04:55 GMT8
Marblecake had her kittens this morning.
On our bed.  She curled up close beside me and started alternately
purring furiously and making odd little squeaks - not exactly as if
she was in pain, more surprised.  There was a wet patch where her
A busy time for all....20 Feb 2007 03:07 GMT19
Nancy and the kitties and I are going to be very busy for several weeks,
so we aren't going to be able to post a whole lot for a while. Please
know that we are purring nonstop for Rob, and for both surgery patients,
and that I'm going to at least scan the newsgroup every few days ...
