Our Smokey is spending the weekend at the Vet.  He had been "off his
feed" for about a week and was very listless.  His normally full and
shiny coat was starting to take on a shaggy appearance (definitely not
normal).  Wife took him the the Vet on Friday.  They gave him some sort ...

Yesterday I was cleaning and cleaned the cat's beds.The one Samwise sleeps
in is a wicker bed with a pillow in it. I had purchased a fleece baby
blanket for it.
I cleaned the blanket, pillow and vacuumed off the wicker basket. Next thing

I was picking up some snacks to have on hand for John's visit in a couple of
weeks.  Got a jar of dry-roasted peanuts.  When I took the jar out of the
bag Persia went absolutely bonkers, meowing at me and pawing at the counter
where I'd set it.  This isn't normally something I'd buy ...

Gilbert in my youngest grandson's cat.  He is a great big grey boy who lives
to snuggle with his kid and his mom.

took issue with a letter from the January issue.  The original letter stated
that cats are responsible for decimating the songbird population.  The woman
