| Allow me (us)... | 03 Feb 2007 13:09 GMT | 44 |
I realize I never properly introduced myself to this group, or to my cat, fully. We live in NYC. Some of you may have seen this already in alt.cats. Ketzl (4-1/2-yr-old tabby adopted three years ago) won't drink from his water bowl on the floor (which I've since dispensed with) ...

| I was almost kilt by an Italian sausage | 03 Feb 2007 02:14 GMT | 8 |
I was patiently waiting in the Kitchin, while the slave was unloading truk after a trip to Catsco. (The place the CHEEZ comes from). Suddenly the Italian sausage jumped off the counter and nearly kilt me. I can't believe it, I don't even like the stuff.

| My apology | 02 Feb 2007 22:48 GMT | 16 |
I am so very sorry that I've offended some with my first post inviting you all to our blog. Yes, we are going to set up a business offering artwork to cat lovers, which I thought would be of interest to newsgroups about cats, but my primary reason for joining the groups is

| Folk Art | 02 Feb 2007 22:30 GMT | 11 |
I won tickets to the local folk festival last weekend http://www.illawarrafolkclub.org.au/folk_festival_home.php And I am glad I did because my father writes and performs "Bush Poetry" (anecdotes set in rhyme) at such events, and the tickets to such festivals

Hi guys! I just joined the group and wanted to say hello. I'm loving everyone's stories! Thanks for the laughs. I've got 2 furballs of my own, Chloe and Charlie Murphy. They are the best friends a girl can have. :)

It seems to be a tough week for animal abuse, unfortunately. You have connections in the horse world and maybe you can get word out to people who might be interested in helping a herd of starving horses. You can find this story on the front page of www.ajc.com

| New-born lambs' Rottweiler 'mum' | 02 Feb 2007 19:14 GMT | 3 |
They have a fearsome reputation, but one Rottweiler is proving that the breed has a softer side by helping to rear two lambs. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/mid/6321827.stm

| A Tessie update | 02 Feb 2007 15:00 GMT | 4 |
Tessie thinks it's wonderful to see people walking past the door because they must be coming to see HER! Every time somebody goes past the apartment she races to the front and runs along the back of the couch to follow them. When she gets to the corner she stands on the

| How to make great-tasting gravy? | 02 Feb 2007 13:52 GMT | 22 |
I tried my hand at biscuits and gravy today and the texture and thickness of the gravy was perfect, but the flavour was a bit lacking... how do I make it come out tastier?

| Hilarious video | 02 Feb 2007 08:46 GMT | 12 |
My father sent me this one. It's hysterical. I put it on my web page, so you can download it here: http://home.sonic.net/~jwermont/misc/dance.wmv It opens with Windows Media Player. I don't know what it does if you

| Purrs for Thomas please (RB) | 02 Feb 2007 05:34 GMT | 22 |
Please could Thomas have some RB purrs? For those of you who remember, Thomas lived next door and was a very elderly dignified statescat who has been ill with hyperthyroidism for sometime. For the last few days, Thomas was particularly unwell and TED (who is also TED for my lot) had

| Help, he sings | 02 Feb 2007 05:24 GMT | 8 |
This morning I had to get up at 3 am and take DP to the airport as he will be flying across the country (9 cities in 2 weeks) to interview for a neurology residency. Smokey was rather bewildered at the bowls filling at 3 am.

| Happy Annifursary, Duffy | 02 Feb 2007 05:15 GMT | 13 |
Duffy came into my life on Jan. 31, 2003. As many of you already know, he is an incredible, loving, delightful bundle of fur. He has brought nothing but joy for Holly and me! Happy annifursary, Duffy.
