New camera!16 Jan 2007 16:02 GMT15
I received my new camera today, and of course I had to snap a few
practice shots immediately. Keep in mind these are the first shots I
took with it:
Caliban with last year's wall calendar:
(Not) My Cat Annie...16 Jan 2007 15:28 GMT5

Don't worry, it's "work-safe" - but I particularly like the "fetish"
video of Annie the Cat and the footwear :-)
Strange Kneads16 Jan 2007 15:15 GMT5
Lacey has new behavioral characteristics.  I call it frantic kneading.  As a
Christmas gift I bought the cats a padded lap blanket.  On one side is thick
fleesey material and on the other side a very soft velour. I love the velour
side but the cats prefer the fleese so I turn it ...
Caliban channelling Nikki16 Jan 2007 15:05 GMT4
I think I've mentioned that Caliban goes about poofing his tail at will,
and seemingly for no reason, just like Nikki used to do. And not the
whole tail, but parts of it - like just the tip, or the base, or the
middle - just like Nikki used to do.
Cat-stacking?16 Jan 2007 15:02 GMT3
Does anyone remember the website for people stacking stuff all over
the top of innocent sleeping felines? I thought it was called
cat-stacking, but that just brought up the game I posted a minute ago,
which is literal stacking-of-cats :P
Persia Annifursary!16 Jan 2007 15:00 GMT19
Lest I forget to post!  It was 6 years ago tomorrow that a lovely grey cat
came to my patio door and started yowling.  Many of you may remember I'd
never been around cats before.  So (ashamed) I tried to run her off.  She
was having none of that.  She hopped over the fence but was ...
Healing Purrs for a bare-kitten16 Jan 2007 01:12 GMT27
My eldest grand-daughter has just been taken to hospital after her
younger sister shut her fingers in the door nearly amputating the end
of one of them. The local hospital couldn't re-attach it so they've
sent her to a London hospital.
Winter some more16 Jan 2007 00:39 GMT1
For those of us who havn't been out, there is freezing rain all
over everything in NY state. I
havn't been out of doors, but I did look out. Freeze is coating
all the
Dear Mom.....16 Jan 2007 00:36 GMT7
Dear Mom,
Thank you for the new set of flannel sheets.  I love the design and
they feel so soft.  I put them on the bed immediately and they have
been thoroughly tested and approved by the committee.
Uncle update15 Jan 2007 23:55 GMT15
My uncle started his chemo (pancreatic cancer) on Friday.  Not too bad
so far though they will be ramping up the dose.
He has always has a very positive attitude, so fingers crossed that may
help.
Garage door threat to cats15 Jan 2007 22:29 GMT9
Tao managed to get in trouble in a way I've not had a cat do before.  A
neighbor rang the bell and asked if I had a black and white cat, and a
red car, then told me the cat was trapped in the garage door.  I thanked
her and ran back to the garage, I could see Tao pinned by the ...
Winter Weather Anyone?15 Jan 2007 21:55 GMT40
Is anyone else enjoying (???!!!) the latest round of ice/sleet/snow
we're getting this a.m.? (I think it's headed to you, Pat, if it's not
there already)
I am just praying that the weather people are wrong, because they're
Fat Cat gets busted15 Jan 2007 21:31 GMT18
Anyone else see this story?
This woman who owns six cats is wondering why the food is disappearing
faster.  She figured out another cat was sneaking in through the cat
flap into the the garage and chowing down on her cats' food.  She

I'm sorry to not be here to support you. Unfortunately I may be only popping
