Ice and snow in Central Texas18 Jan 2007 11:17 GMT22
We've been having freezing rain, sleet and even snow since yesterday
here in Central Texas. The city is pretty much shut down and all the
sensible people are staying indoors. Tom and I made a quick run to the
store to get some eggs and other supplies, it was an interesting drive
Tuxedo kitten cutie18 Jan 2007 03:57 GMT23
I was browsing YouTube, and I found videos of this kitten:

What struck me about her was how so many of her mannerisms reminded me
of Betty.  I didn't know Betty as a kitten, so I wondered if this was
Odd eating habits18 Jan 2007 00:59 GMT9
Hi... I opened the closet door under the sink in the laundry room this
morning and discovered a bar of soap which had teeth marks on both
sides. It had to be Thomas as the bottles and boxes were all knocked
over! He isn't showing any ill effects from his munching, but my
Exhausted and embarrassed17 Jan 2007 20:01 GMT28
Oy, I am an exhausted mess! I haven't been on as much as I'd like, as I'd
been down for the count with a sinus infection that decided to come in on the
coattails of the Flu of Evil. I hate myself. Everyone be prepared for some
very, VERY late cards. Please don't beat me. I'd like to ...
Little Purrs, Please...17 Jan 2007 19:47 GMT15
Right now I'm feeling a little grotty. I've got bronchitis. I sat a
University exam last Thursday, and now I have to get a medical
certificate to present and explain my possibly poor performance :-(
The Power of Purr worked for Mrs Cat's dental operation a while ago, but
Too much of  a good thing17 Jan 2007 19:45 GMT11
I am the meowmie I tell them.  I have he flu I tell them. I tell them
how sweet it is they all want to lay on my chest at one time to watch me
heal but that it is counterproductive as I can't breathe. They lay there
and watch me turn blue. I tell them that if I die there won't ...
Pics: skinny Mir and sleepy Cali17 Jan 2007 19:43 GMT13
After some comments on how plump Miranda looks, I had to take a picture
that shows that she is still the svelte ballet-dancer type girl (here
during one of her favourite pastimes - rolling around in the shower
stall. Don't Ask.):

Booping Persia17 Jan 2007 19:22 GMT20
Well, everyone used to boop the Hube... Persia has a boop spot, too!  Just
behind her left front leg, makes her squeak :)  So I boop her regularly, the
silly gal!  And she purrs and rubs her head against me and is generally just
a sweet cat.  Boop your cat today!
A cat and her bowl17 Jan 2007 05:12 GMT9
Nessa is a kitty that has formed an attachment to this bowl. It's the

Eight is Enough16 Jan 2007 20:51 GMT24
Hello everyone! I am new to this group. I was thrilled to find group
about cats because I adore them and have so many stories to share about
the little tribe that my husband and I lovingly refer to as "our kids".
I am in my early 30s and have always had a cat in my life since the ...

Shop Pets16 Jan 2007 18:57 GMT58
Went to the store last night and there was Maxine, the shop dog.  She's not
always there but she was there last night.
She's such a sweet mutt.  No particular breed that I can ascertain but she's
got brown and black rather longish fur (now going grey around her muzzle).
