Please purr for an unknown kitty (RB)27 Jan 2007 21:48 GMT21
I have lurked here for a long time. I wanted to ask you all to please
purr for a kitty I had to have put to sleep today. She was in my
garden and acting like she was in pain or sick, so I put her in a
kitty carrier and took her to the vet. She was a tortoiseshell kitty

Me again. I have a question that I was wandering if y'all could help me
with. My husband wants to let our youngest, Koda, have kittens since
our oldest, Helen, was already fixed when we adopted her. Since our
girls are inside only cats, how would we go about letting her have a
One week to go......27 Jan 2007 21:32 GMT14
One week from today I will take my State Board Exam for the RVT.
I'm trying to study, but the cats keep getting in the way.
A few minutes ago, I was reviewing horse anatomy and common diseases
when Mischief walks across my desk and sprawls across my notes.
Howdy folks... Lynxie update!27 Jan 2007 21:13 GMT12
It's been a while.. years I think!
Just wanted to chime in on a community I've sort of drifted away
from... Life being busy and all tends to do that. But I know some of
you probably remember Lynxie, if not me.

Prayers please for my mom27 Jan 2007 13:32 GMT26
My mother's brother died today, yes, my uncle, but I didn't know him
well. But in her eyes it was the last of her family. I know he was 89
and not in good health but she has been so upset and depressed lately
and this is just terribly terribly hard on her. I feel so bad I can't
B. Kilbans cat cartoon home page.27 Jan 2007 08:22 GMT7
While surfing the web tonight, I came across B. Kilbans home page.
For those not familiar with B. Kilban's cat cartoons, they are very,
very strange, and very funny.
Many can be seen at:
Video - Kneady Lacey27 Jan 2007 03:09 GMT8
I managed to get a video of Lacey in the knead zone. If you're interested in
watching you can view it at http://www.dropshots.com/GaDragonfly and choose
"Kneady Lacey".  This is a long video at almost 4 minutes but if you can
stick it out for a couple of minutes she really gets ...
The Old Grey Cat26 Jan 2007 22:19 GMT3
My Muriel is about 16 or 17, and she's a silver tabby - she was named
after the Scottish comedienne/journalist Muriel Gray.  The only sign
of age she's displaying is that she's almost entirely deaf (no reaction
at all when you rattle a box of crunchies in the same room; a few years
rabid bobcat found in athens, geogia area26 Jan 2007 21:44 GMT3
this is a downer for all of us outside pet owners, but some bobcats are
definitely here, a semi-rural but going more developed and thus
populated with people and pets

Another Cleoism26 Jan 2007 18:52 GMT1
I have a habit of putting my abc gum back in the empty gum packet (Excel)
rather than spitting it out on the street. Cleo was on my desk tonight with
an empty gum package with some abc gum inside. She got the package open and
started licking the gum furiously. I made sure she did ...
Ping Mark Edwards26 Jan 2007 12:25 GMT5
Mark,
I just wanted to tell you that I enjoy the stories you post about your
cats.  I haven't had a chance to respond to each story individually
lately, but I always read your stories and enjoy them very much.  Thank

How hhappy are you with it? do any of you have multi cat families that it's
working for?? How much did you pay for it? As the only Aussie equivalent
costs around $400- 500 I am hoping to order one from the US, either from
ebay or an online store (if they'll send it to me) and ...
Dilemma with Mango26 Jan 2007 11:21 GMT33
I wanted to ask all of you advice on something. At the moment we have a
divided cat family. Mango is having to live permanently in the outdoor
enclosure, and the indoor cats can't use the outdoor enclosure. We're going
to be moving in July/August, depending on what we can afford ...
