My mother is 81 today. (Don't worry, I'll call her at a respectable hour!)
Thank goodness she's in good health and sounds relatively happy when we
talk.  This will sound rather cheesy but hey, I'm still out of work... I
found a silk nightgown in my closet which is one size too small ...

My niece has posted some videos of her cats on YouTube. To recap: Emil
is Miranda's brother, Kira (the little round girl with the shocked look
on her face) is her mother, and Kasper (the big hunk with the glowering
eyes) is her distant uncle. The clips are short but funny.

A few moments ago I went into the bathroom to comb my hair, but Emily
our grey bratcat had gotten there first. She was sprawled on the comfy
mat under the mirror, enjoying the heat from the radiator on this
bitterly cold Canadian morning.

I live in north central California.  And this time of year we are where all
the birds that flew south for the winter are hanging out.  I know most of
the local year round and summer birds, but now I see birds almost daily that
I can't identify.

Okay, when I lived in Bangkok was was used to seeing baht bills that was
blue or red.  Never in the U.S. of A have I seen money that was anything
other than green.  They don't call it greenback's fer nuthin! (laughing)
So I went to get the nose pads on my glasses replaced today and ...

We had a little snow yesterday (actually a blizzard all day - the snow

Well, I've accomplished more in my 38th week of pregnancy than I have in 3
years of living here as far as cleaning and organizing the house.  The
crowning glory has been moving the office into the dining room and dealing
with all the fiddly things that had accumulated in boxes.  ...

spark!  Tail?  Spark!  Static electricity big time.  Last night I ran my
hand along Persia's back and there was a literally shower of sparks.  Poor
thing!  Time to wipe her down with a dryer fabric softener ...

I u/l these because I was going to post them on lost & found.  Today
she jumped in the car door when I left.  I caught a glimps of her in
