| 12/28 - Just 6 hours since Christmas | 01 Jan 2007 21:36 GMT | 15 |
At least it feels like it has only been 6 hours since Christmas. I made the mistake (or maybe it was the outstanding choice) of giving DH a DVD copy of the first season of the TV show 24. Somehow we missed that season. I have lost track of anything I was supposed to do this week ...

| Catsitting Nisse | 01 Jan 2007 21:28 GMT | 6 |
I am looking after a co-worker's cat for 10 days. His name is Nisse and he is 11 years old. His mom said 9 but her daughter Agnes says 11. She is 10 and I think she knows if Nisse is older or younger than her.

| Christmas late for us | 01 Jan 2007 21:22 GMT | 9 |
We had to push our holiday down the calendar a bit. Louie got an allergic reaction of pure evil from some Chinese food my boss provided for the holiday party, which neither of us knew had shrimp. Unlike our seafood-loving cats (four of them anyway: Sabrina is allergic to seafood but ...

| new kitty on the block | 01 Jan 2007 21:10 GMT | 6 |
We've been getting visits from a little grey boy over the past couple of months. He's got a white bib, white paws, and the tip of his tail is white. It's hard to tell if he belongs to someone or not, as he is skinny but not too skinny. I'm guessing he's no more than a year old.

He's in the hospital. When he was visiting last week he mentioned sometimes feeling short of breath (close your dirty minds!) but then he always said he'd feel better. Turned out he couldn't get a prescription for a dieuretic refilled while he was in NY dealing with some stuff ...

| RPCA Kiss-A-Mouse Project | 01 Jan 2007 01:05 GMT | 26 |
Like most of you, I've been rather depressed with how commercial the season has become. So I would like to start something here, with this group, and hope it spreads. I propose that next winter's Holiday Season, we each pick a project and work

| Itchy Sabrina | 01 Jan 2007 00:52 GMT | 11 |
Well, we've managed to pull through the recent unpleasantness. Our juice is back on, still have trouble getting anything Usenet on the Apple. Isn't RPCA available through Google or something? And oh yeah, we now have our phone back, and a mountain of cleanup expenses to go with the ...

| Candle Group for Potjie(RB) | 01 Jan 2007 00:05 GMT | 6 |
My condolences to Tish and her dad, and the rest of their family on Potjie/Jet's passing. Since it *did* make me feel better when Natasha crossed the bridge recently, I've started a group and lit a candle for Potjie. Due to
