Kitty clock03 Jan 2007 18:30 GMT39
My mother-in-law thought it would be really fun to give us a kitty clock for
Christmas.  It's a really cute clock, so my husband immediately stuck in 3
(yes it takes 3!) batteries, took down our regular living room clock, and
hung up the kitty clock.

Otis is a very tolerant cat?03 Jan 2007 15:01 GMT17
Now that we are 5 1/2 weeks or so away from delivery and I've gained the
staggering amount of weight that I do for pregnancy, I've developed a rather
impressive snore.  Not a delicate snort once and a while but a full bore fog
horn beached whale kind of snore - the kind that ...
SOT  Never mess with a Border Collie.03 Jan 2007 02:44 GMT7
I've spent my entire adult life with cats and dogs.  But the dogs were

is a good idea to check inside your shoes before you put them on, watch your

Can you USA-ers answer a question? (OT)02 Jan 2007 20:27 GMT19
Sorry to be a pest, but i've heard references to this for ages and always
wondered why....are you not allowed white shoes after Labour Day?? It's
piqued my interest for ages, but I keep forgetting to ask. We have no such
custom I've ever heard of down under. (we have our own ...
Zak + Drinkwell = So far so good02 Jan 2007 02:31 GMT12
I bought Zak a drinkwell.  I hoped it would help him drink more water.  Up
until now he got the most water from the soup I made from the Fancy Feast
and lots of water.  The problem is the soup needs to be exactly right for
him to want it.  The water can't be much above the meat ...

[BOOOM!] There's no place like hhhhhome!01 Jan 2007 22:31 GMT4
We had some heavy storms here yesterday. I was at the door, trying to
get Buster in, and trying to see if Bucky wanted a day in as well.
While I'm holding the door open for an "I'm not convinced..." Buster,
Dulce Mae decides that she really wants to run out. Buster scat6ters.
Might Disappear for a bit (OT)01 Jan 2007 21:56 GMT7
Not my fault, Microsoft's fault.  I wanted to install an upgrade to a music
player but didn't have SP2 installed.  So I went to the MS website.
Installation got 85% done then it said something was missing and shut down
and rebooted my PC.  When it came back my connection icons ...
