TOO precious!!02 Dec 2006 20:59 GMT4
I just found Baby Eyes laying on top of Abelard in his *tiny* bed and
washing him from stem to stern! Maybe she thinks she's been neglecting him?
I tried taking pics of them but the location is way too dark.
My cats OK after home alone for 4 weeks!02 Dec 2006 06:07 GMT36
I was on a trip abroad for four weeks. I left a ground floor window
open (I live in a very low crime area), plenty of dry food, several
pots full of water on the floor. I dont have a litter box. I was a
little worried, but I found all my 3 cats in perfect health upon my
The Mere kitten is 2!02 Dec 2006 05:32 GMT25
On 30 November 2004, my niece's female Russian Blue, Kira, gave birth to
a litter of 5. The kittens were supposed to become show cats to be bred
from, but it turned out they could not be registered purebreds.
Something about their sire not having enough recorded ancestors. So now
New zoomy matches02 Dec 2006 01:07 GMT1
Lily has the zoomies today, and is acting out the condition with Beatrice,
the only other cat in the zoomy mood right now. First time I've seen this
pair being playmates. Yesterday it was Baby Eyes and Abelard for the first
time, and they kept it up for a very long time.
BW  Maybe it is a good thing...02 Dec 2006 00:55 GMT3
...Shasta is blind and deaf; at least for Sheba's sake.
Tuesday evening the cold front came through and started snowing and
the temp started dropping. By Wednesday morning I decided 15 degrees
was a good excuse to cook beans all day. So I got the crockpot out and
Purr request for Smokey02 Dec 2006 00:33 GMT24
Smokey is in need of purrs again. If you remember he had problems when I was in
the hospital back in September. He was diagnosed with Feline Hepatic Lipidosis
(Fatty Liver Disease). He seems to have recovered nicely from that. Last night
he started drooling and acting lethargic. ...
Introducing Kramer01 Dec 2006 22:10 GMT26
Here are some pictures of our new baby, Kramer.

When I woke up this morning Kramer was curled up next to Dennis under the
covers with just his little head sticking out. He looked so sweet.

A PARROT01 Dec 2006 21:27 GMT4
This is Sunrise, the pretty one. Uncle Bill is typing this for me, so
please forgive the spelling and grandma.
Mommy Micki brought home a parrot!!
First, she put a big house in our living room. It is bigger than Bear

Attack Of The Doves!!!!!!!!!!!!!01 Dec 2006 19:26 GMT2
Normally, when Winter arrives, I put up my plexiglass top gate, so the
neighborhood critters can come on the front porch to get warm and sleep( I
have a heater on there as well) but the garage "swallowed" the
hinges:-(...soooo, until I could get to the hardware store...I put up a
Sunshine Kitty :)01 Dec 2006 18:40 GMT1
It's very cold outside right now so I've cracked the blinds on the back door
to let in the sunshine.  Persia is meatloafing in a puddle of sunshine :)
She's such a sweet cat; she snuggles with me when I sleep and taps me on the
nose when she wants attention or food!  I love her ...
A little tiff01 Dec 2006 18:39 GMT2
The cats were batting each other on the cat tree. I managed to capture
the end of the battle on film. Sorry for the poor quality; the lighting
was not the best.

Never too old for bedmice01 Dec 2006 14:01 GMT16
Last night Snoopy was having great fun killing bedmice for 10 minutes,
grabbing with her teeth then bunny kicking. :-) Afterwards she snuggled up
to me and was *very* purry. Sometimes it's hard to believe she'll be 17 in
March.
BK's first internship01 Dec 2006 12:05 GMT1
BK's first internship as a housecat went reasonably well, despite
Dulce Mae's best efforts to sabotage him.
While Dulce Mae did not attack, per se, she did make threatening
noises, and ran up at him a few times, making him very nervous. Much
