The Davis 500?06 Dec 2006 03:01 GMT1
Seems like Abelard, Eli and Baby Eyes are running a race here. It really is
a crazy night. At one point Abelard was stalking Eli and startled him enough
that he jumped 2' into the air and then landed on directly on top of
Abelard, who is so much smaller that he can stand under Eli's ...
Tom's belly.05 Dec 2006 22:01 GMT16
Tom, our old feral cat, or rather ex-feral cat, surprised me this
weekend by smooching up to me and then rolled onto his back, exposing
his soft fuzzy belly. This is the first time he's done this, so I
felt very privileged. It took us 5 years to get Tom to a stage where we

In case you hadn't heard, Tennessee Titans beat Indianapolis Colts by a
whopping *3* points today, but hitting a 60 yard field goal with only *7*
seconds of play left in the game!
Way to go, Titans!
Sarrasine's new career05 Dec 2006 09:44 GMT2
She's decided to become an archeologist!
Figures through with her criminal tendencies I don't think she'll be an
Indiana Jones one!
This morning I am woken by the gentle (and sometimes not so gentle) bap

By California standards, this past week has been quite chilly. I also
have an apartment that is singularly hard to heat, as one almost can't
tell the difference when the furnace is on unless one is standing
within a three foot radius of it. Every morning after breakfast, my

This is satirical, so please don't take it seriously.  It is funny,
which is why I'm posting it here.

I don't have any friends (whimper)05 Dec 2006 04:08 GMT14
The new way they do webshots is getting to me! While it was 'just my
albums' I could go along feeling quite happy that my photos had ten or
twenty or fifty views during the week... but now I can see how I stack
up to the 'big guns' and it's giving me a serious inferiority complex!
One year ago ...05 Dec 2006 01:16 GMT21
Today it is one year since I had to let Hugo Katt go to the Rainbow
Bridge. He was 16.
I still remember the last days best. They were very hard.
Maybe - some time - I can remember the good times first. Not yet.
I hate depression05 Dec 2006 00:05 GMT161
My final day at my temp job is Monday.
I just got the letter telling me what my unemployment compensation will
be. And as little as I was making as a temp, the unemployment comp is even
less. This is not good. :o(

But I'm back (I hope) with new computer and newsreader, thanks to an
angel :-)  Will take me awhile to get used to some of this new stuff, so
 bear with me!
Sending purrs and hugs to all who need them, congratulations to those

In about two weeks, Little Boy will have been with us for a full year.
He came to us on a clod and wintry day, limping, and impersonating a
girl kitty - I thought he was pregnant (big grin).
He has, of course, healed up, his size has evened out, and he is

One word - identity fraud. Some bastard emptied our bank account
buying jewellery in Orlando and the bank is being extremely
uncooperative. :(

that's how she sleeps, too (sorry for the shallow depth of field, I had
to open the lens all the way up).
Is canned chicken broth okay for cats?04 Dec 2006 18:16 GMT17
I remember reading the onions are all that good for cats, and one of my
friends was thinking about making something with canned chicken broth.
Are the leftovers okay for the cat? She was worried about hurting them.
We both know that onions and carrots and celery are used in the ...
