Dave G update09 Dec 2006 10:09 GMT35
Dave is booked to go into hospital for his operation on the 21st of
November. For some reason its considered 'elective' surgery, so could be
rescheduled at the last moment, but at least it soon.
Purrs & prayers for successful surgery to go ahead on the scheduled date,
Luthien & Muezza.Glorio09 Dec 2006 06:22 GMT8
Just a little update on the wee ones who are not
so wee any more!
Luthien has been on Tapazole for severe hyperthyroidism
since August and is tolerating it well.  She had been a nice
Thanks for the Cards!09 Dec 2006 03:06 GMT8
The cards have certainly been doing a lot to make me smile.  It's going to
get down to 19F tonight (BRRRRRRRRETH!)  That's freakin' cold for west
Tennessee, people!  I am grateful Persia is a snuggle-bug.  She's nice and
warm.  I suspect she likes it, too :D
Freaked out felines09 Dec 2006 00:32 GMT26
Last night was strong gusting winds. Same this morning with added horizontal
rain. So last night was noisy with the sound of the wind against the
windows. Cue freaked out felines. My three really don't like the noise and
are wide-eyed, unsettled, tail-lashing felines wandering ...

Now we've been doubly screwed... by the person who tried to take our
money, and the bank person who told us that it was all taken care of
on Saturday. They lied through their teeth.
The charges went through last night so this morning we woke up to a
Vet Tech Journals: Remember the bitey bitty?08 Dec 2006 22:20 GMT10
Remember the little 5 week old kitten that was brought in on my first
day of employment, who promptly chomped on my finger when i weighed
her?
She was a tiny fluffball and weighed in at 0.8 lbs.

Sorry for another OT Post (long)08 Dec 2006 00:30 GMT61
BUT!  this one has a happy ending :)  I'd been told for 2 years that I
didn't qualify for any sort of government assistance because (1) I don't
have children and (2) I have an IRA.  This didn't make sense to me because
single people have to eat, too.  I finally found a woman at the ...

I had a visitor this morning!!07 Dec 2006 22:24 GMT14
I was hanging the washing out, keeping an eye on the kids when this storm of
barking erupted in the backyard! Now this was my 'snake dog' barking, not
the burglar friendly one, so I thought I'd better go and see what her
problem was today. Anything sets her off, birds, postmen, ...
Abelard's Crazy Dance07 Dec 2006 22:06 GMT5
Oh, if ONLY I could have caught this on video, I just know I missed the
$100k Funniest Home Video prize again! Abelard got on top of a large
cardboard box and started, literally, crazy-dancing!! I don't think I can
even begin to described it in writing but here's a shot...
