One of my cats TV*he's black and white* has evidently been reading Jill's
posts.  This cat weighs almost 19 pounds and his goal in life is to get as

Journal of Feline Medicine. It's about the development of Alzheimer's
Disease in kitties, based on research performed at the Universities of
Edinburgh, St. Andrews, Bristol and California.

All your responses were very heartening, thank you all! I will reply
more individually soon, but need to get off the computer right now. But
it was helpful for me to check in with everyone. Even just to break a
bit of the isolation by saying out loud, "I'm feeling miserable", helped

Silver must be cold. She was planted on top of my monitor so I lifted
her off (she overheats it!) and put her on my shoulder instead.

Just got back from the post office - it wasn't as bad as I feared, I was
only there for about 45 minutes.  I'm usually a lot more timely than this,
but this year I just couldn't seem to get it all together (I'm not even
putting up a Christmas tree this year, just the thought of ...

One year ago today, Frank was released from his suffering. I dream about
him and Nikki at least once a week, but fortunately, they are happy
dreams, not nightmares. Usually I'm just playing with them, or they play
some b*st*rd cat trick on me.
