Ah-ha!!18 Dec 2006 14:50 GMT3
I've been reading the stories here about how much trouble it is to eat
around the cat - holding the sandwich with one hand and pushing the cat
away with the other, etc...  Nope, never happened to me.  Rita just
isn't interested in people food.

More cards arrive18 Dec 2006 13:50 GMT12
I was very surprised today when I got a card from Dewi, it only took two
days from Australia to England. That will take some beating. :-)

I'm making a bunch of the Xmas cards by hand this year.  Got some green
and red paper and have spent the evening cutting and gluing and shooing
Mischief off the desk.
The main pic on the front is one of the following pics

I can't believe it!  A portion of the quote in the paper tonight says:

Surprise in the Garage18 Dec 2006 02:26 GMT17
I found a black cat sitting under the truck just as pretty as you
please. It ran out under the door because Frank started growling
through the screen like a maniac. (He is such a little scrapper). So I
put some Fancy Feast under the truck, left the door cracked. The food

I never post anything about Bosley, the grandcat, so thought I would,
just this once.
Bosley was my son's cat. He went to work for Hallburton Special
Services, and was gone from home weeks at a stretch. Bosley had to have

There is no problem getting him to eat it, but the food from the vet's
office is expensive .
Does anyone know of any other brands of food I could look into for him.
Update on Sweetie and Tigger17 Dec 2006 22:38 GMT5
Just thought I'd give you folks a little closure.
First, I'm happy to say that the two of them are living together
in relative peace now, and that Tigger is no longer sequestered
in the back bedroom.  They don't interact much, but that includes

Well, inspired by yesterday's success with the cats and camera, I spent a
good portion of the evening being a celebrity cat photographer as the boys
mugged for the camera.

Miss Violette had been gone just around 3 weeks.  I was still in great pain
and DH was very sad.  It was a year ago at the beginning of November.  We
had come home after a long day of work and the weather kept getting worse.
As we sat in the van having the last cigarette the wind ...
Easy way to wean cat off of Fancy Feast and onto Hills Prescription Diet? - HELP!17 Dec 2006 21:20 GMT25
I'm trying to get my elderly mom to stop giving her cat (with a granuloma
like skin condition on her hind legs) Fancy Feast and try Hills low
allergen Z/D prescription diet formula to see if it was the Fancy Feast
that's the problem.
