A kitty's message31 Dec 2006 21:23 GMT64
I think that there's something very special about a cat's touch.  We
know that petting a cat has been shown to reduce stress and calm the
heart.  But I also discovered that touching a cat can impart an
impression that will stay with you for a long time.

I REALLY NEED SOME HELP HERE31 Dec 2006 06:05 GMT7
I need some help.  I can't stop her.  Since 5 am she has not stopped.  I
can't take it she is going to give me a heart attack trying to keep up.
She does not even act like she had an operation yesterday.  She was like the
dead last night.  I kept touching her to make sure she was ...
Cats the song31 Dec 2006 03:13 GMT1
Was moving around my music collection and thought you might enjoy this.
Barnes and Barnes is Will from lost in space and some other guy.  I won't
leave it up long; don't wanna be a music pirate.

Lily & Billy, Abelard & Eli31 Dec 2006 00:57 GMT20
Every day I marvel at my great good fortune in having adopted these two. No
one could ask for a nicer pair of kitties. Both are absolute sweethearts,
easy keepers, gorgeous and loveable as can be. Billy gets such a crazy
expression on his face at times, like occasionally when I am ...
Spock's drug of choice30 Dec 2006 22:28 GMT22
Neither of our cats respond to catnip. In fact, both seem to regard it
as noxious.  Tonight I discovered, quite by chance, Spock's drug of
choice - bleach.  We don't use much bleach because we have a septic
waste treatment and large quantities of bleach kills the septic and
Bah!30 Dec 2006 22:17 GMT10
The Christmas "spirits" around here have evidently been nipping at the
eggnog and are running around playing pranks.
There is a very large roast of beef in my refrigerator.  And yes I'm
grateful to have a large roast and enough family to enjoy it.  Even if none
Ping Kiliini30 Dec 2006 11:17 GMT2
I sent you and email but I'm not sure if you got it. I've mailed a krinkle
sack to you that my crew ignore, except to occasionally lie upon. Hopefully
you'll get it in the next day or two.

Jamming and reading RPCA30 Dec 2006 06:34 GMT1
I'm so glad to have this darned computer working again.  I tapped into my
music files and have been playing all my favorite oldies as loud as I like
while reading all the posts and catching up on all the news.  Alex just came
into my room laughing that the cats have all gone out ...
See you all soon30 Dec 2006 02:52 GMT15
Off to the hospital in the morning. Purrs to all the kitties and humans
to stay well. I'm pretty nervous finally but at least it will be all
done tomorrow at this time. Hopefully a text book surgery with no
trouble. See you all when I am up to computing again.
Just might be the best Xmas ever29 Dec 2006 23:36 GMT2
I managed to dodge all the invitations, and there were some really
tenacious inviters.  But all I wanted was a day to spend with my cats,
and that's what I got.
Called my dad, who wasn't home.  This is a good thing for the 'Peace on

We had a lovely Xmas lunch out which included Lois and Ken - and we took
pictures!!!!    Lois just sent me this Santa and Reindeer singing carol
which I hope you enjoy as much as we did.
Merry Xmas to you all and the furred ones.
'Natural balance' catfood was a huge hit...29 Dec 2006 19:51 GMT14
It was on sale before Christmas so I bought the girls three small cans
of it for their stocking. I gave them 'chicken liver pate' yesterday
and 'seafood' today, and both were scarfed down in double quick time.
:) Judging by their reactions to it, it's Gourmet - they liked it even
