Collector on TV18 Nov 2006 18:55 GMT19
The Dr. Phil show will feature a woman with a couple hundred cats and
disgruntled neighbors on his show on Wednesday. Nov. 15.  I don't know if
this show is available internationally, but information is available at
Drphil.com.
Persia's Acting Weird Again18 Nov 2006 15:40 GMT2
I was watching television last night when I kept hearing this odd swishing
sound.  I thought my TV was acting up.  But the sound kept up.  So I muted
the TV and still heard the noise.
I tracked it down.  I have a Sherpa pet carrier for Persia.  They are soft
A Weak Xmas Joke18 Nov 2006 15:39 GMT7
Two female cats are sitting on a fence.

One says to the other, "What would you like for Christmas? I'd like four
kittens.
Update on ches Miles...18 Nov 2006 12:58 GMT7
After some *Very* careful consideration and a long discussion with the
RSPCA staff at the shelter, I've decided not to adopt Lassie. She is
apparently unreliable with cats and as much as I would love to rescue
her, I am not prepared to take the risk with the resident mogs in the
EGADS!  How could I forget!!!!!!!!18 Nov 2006 12:20 GMT9
With all the hullabaloo over squeaky Rosie - I forgot that one year ago
YESTERDAY (Nov 11), we brought the Rubble kids in!
The one year annifurrsary of Bam-Bam, Barney & Betty coming to live with us

Ishmael, you obstinate old bugger18 Nov 2006 12:14 GMT28
Ishmael is dying of cancer.  He's very thin with a severely swollen
abdomen.  Last night he could still purr and cuddle up to us, but for
the last few days he hasn't eaten and he can't lie down in a normal
position any more, prefers to prop himself up on something angular
I'm in trouble18 Nov 2006 05:29 GMT6
I popped out to the bank today (from work) and noticed a PetCo store
along the way. I had been going to Petsmart from home, but it's a PITA
because it's out of the way of all my other errands, and is at least 20
mins total travel (usually 30), plus the time spent in the store.
Feliway18 Nov 2006 05:09 GMT11
My MIL just bought us a motorized, lifting/reclining chair to help me/us
right now.  Our cats seem to LOVE our current, used furniture - but this is
a brand new $900 piece of furniture.
What's the best way to keep the cats off the chair?  Does Feliway work for
Spooning Kitties18 Nov 2006 05:01 GMT3
A few months ago I bought a new couch and chair.  There have been some
complaints from the kitties because the old couch had a skirt and the
new one is
open underneath.  Hiding places have been rearranged.  The old couch

Persia Likes Cornbread17 Nov 2006 20:28 GMT10
I made some cornbread muffins.  After I finished eating dinner there was
still half a muffin on my plate on the coffee table.  I was watching
television.  I don't know when she managed it, I sure didn't see her, but
Persia snagged that muffin!  I discovered her happily munching away ...

aggravating cat17 Nov 2006 19:10 GMT5
The little sh.t Chaos deigned to eat 3 (three) tiny bits of rib-eye, then
looked at the other 7, sneezed on them, and walked away. I'm sipping my
just-boiled Constant Comment thinking nasty words at her.
Yesterday, I offered her some and she didn't /quite/ bury it...
Marshmellows17 Nov 2006 06:42 GMT2
So you know those little colored marshmellows, the flavored ones?  Well
Scotland and Nicky Jimmy LOVE them.  Scotland will eat the lime and
Nicky eats the lemon (which make his eyes puffy) and the strawberry
pinks ones.
New shadow on the wall17 Nov 2006 03:03 GMT10
Sorry I've been so absent in posting, just been spending time with
Dennis, plus working, plus dealing with getting our house built.
Anyway, we are all doing well and settling in really well in Australia.
Loving it here and it already feels like home.
