Case of Rosie19 Nov 2006 23:02 GMT8
Rosie loves to hang around when Jim practices his guitar.  This morning, Jim
was sitting on the couch concentrating on his playing,  The case was open
next to him.
A couple of minutes later, I noticed that the case was closed.  The top
OT, new operation date19 Nov 2006 22:33 GMT29
Will be November 23 as an inpatient at a different hospital.  My family are
not coming up good to help me - too busy at work and with their young
children.
Thank goodness for my friend, June.  She phoned me tonight, she will feed
House of Fear and Loathing19 Nov 2006 20:45 GMT5
...the fear being Kumani's, the loathing being Tyche's.
Sisters went to the vet today.  Kumani was so scared she peed herself.
Tyche was so angry about her sister's terror that she spent Kumani's
examination circling the office, growling and snarling.  At her turn,
Miss Chloe and her nerves19 Nov 2006 19:47 GMT22
I don't know what it is with Miss Chloe, but she's been pulling the fur out
of the inside of her back legs.  I see no signs of skin allergy, no redness,
no itching, no fleas (we're Advantage users), but when she gets nervous or
scolded or feels neglected, she goes into a corner and ...
Purrs needed19 Nov 2006 12:36 GMT14
Rusty needs some purrs again. Tonight when I brushed his teeth, I
noticed he has bleeding gums. I will call TED tomorrow to get an appt.
for him. He probably will need dental cleaning. I hate to put him under
for that at his age of 12. I feel bad that I haven't been brushing his
The importance of Carbon Monoxide alarms19 Nov 2006 12:07 GMT16
This was posted on another board by a vet tech and I thought I would repost
it here:
Do you have a carbon monoxide alarm? If you don't, you really must get one
ASAP.
Food wars with casualties19 Nov 2006 12:05 GMT28
Yesterday, I gave Miranda poached turkey for her dinner, while Caliban
got some tinned gooshy food. I had to buy some more today, because the
smell was driving Caliban mad, and I thought it was unfair not to get
him some, too.
Two Shorts19 Nov 2006 11:57 GMT1
Stories that is.
#1: Mithu has proven again what a good and patient big brother he is.
He hopped up on the arm chair where I was sitting with DD2. There was
not enough room for him to sit next to us, so he was partially on my
Shelter pics19 Nov 2006 11:55 GMT3
This is a very nice shelter. The teenage room made me just want to
scoop all of them up and take them home.

Met another Luna today19 Nov 2006 06:32 GMT3
Some of you may remember Tubby, the black farm cat from Boggy Creek Farm
(local organic farm I shop in often) who died a while back. Well, in
this week's email newsletter, Carol Ann announced the farm had been
adopted by a kitten, who they named Luna. I made a special trip to the ...
large feline seen in Nashville, Tennessee park19 Nov 2006 03:58 GMT9
There have been two sightings of a large, tawny feline, possibly a
cougar or caracal, at Percy Warner Park in Nashville, Tennessee.  The
park is 2,680 acres in size, partly wooded, and is on the outskirts of
the city.  The caracal is an African variety of the lynx, generally in
Samwise got locked out19 Nov 2006 00:58 GMT3
I was warn and sunny here today and the doors to the enclosed porches were
open. Samwise got left on the front porch when DH went to work. I can home
about an hour after he left.
Cinnamon always wants to go out and went to the front door. I paused there
Reunited with feline family (at LAST!)18 Nov 2006 21:34 GMT21
My babies are busily exploring their new home, and we are a
family again!  I moved to Arizona on October 30th, having
boarded the cats for the previous three days to spare them
the chaos of the move.  We then drove from California to
We have boxes18 Nov 2006 21:34 GMT6
Boy do we ever have boxes.  And strips of cardboard.  And packing stuff.
Should keep the cats busy all night.
The reason we have boxes and cardboard, yesterday we had new carpet put into
two bedrooms, and this morning I headed off to IKEA to pick up some basic
Where's the fire?18 Nov 2006 19:13 GMT18
Miranda was meatloafing on the desk, under the desk lamp, squished in
beside my laptop. This is her tanning salon (in case you missed the
pictures, there are 3 pics starting here:
