I saw a double rainbow!26 Nov 2006 19:42 GMT2
(sorry I hit send too soon a moment ago... I meant to add something
cat-related before I posted it.) The reason I looked out the window in
the first place was that Tessie was standing on the table with her
front paws up against the glass... she does that a lot for no

Kiss Me At Once26 Nov 2006 16:52 GMT2
My friend Jon came over to put a new video card in my computer.  I have
often told him that Nocturne likes him, as she sleeps on his head and
has even "expanded" into his head until he got shoved off the pillow,
but he thinks she's just being sadistic or like that with everyone.
Cards Away! (and  PING: Britta at the end)26 Nov 2006 11:46 GMT6
Well, some of them, anyway.  The out-of-the USofA cars have been posted, but
the ins-states cards are still being done.  I was addressing the envelopes
yesterday (isn't mail-merge a wonderful invention?), in a nice font, and in
color!  Then the cartridges in our printer ran 'dry' ...
Furry butt home purrs needed.26 Nov 2006 06:34 GMT14
If anyone has some purrs to spare can you purr for my friend's cat to
get his furry butt home.
My friend moved house a week and a half ago, and has been keeping the
cats in.  Unfortunately, her husband left a window open by accident and
Little Boy wants "his" peppermint26 Nov 2006 02:40 GMT4
Ever since the first time Little Boy discovered the smell of
peppermint on my breath, he has started asking for it at bedtime.
He jumps up on the dresser, makes a demanding squeak of a meow, and
demands that I let him inspect my breath.

Update on Rusty25 Nov 2006 21:47 GMT14
This afternoon I took Rusty to see TED about his bleeding gum. He was
diagnosed with Feline Resorptive Lesion. It is similar to  cavity.  The
cause  is unknown.  Tooth brushing would not  prevent it, which made me
feel less guilty of not brushing as frequnetly as I should. TED said ...
Housing purrs please25 Nov 2006 21:41 GMT20
We have the opportunity to buy a house in Port St Lucie from somebody
John knows, at a bargain basement price... we refused the offer a few
months ago because we knew couldn't afford it, and the guy called back
last week and dropped the price another twenty thousand! It's a nice
Cat Tarot cards25 Nov 2006 21:34 GMT2
Just saw this site - they have specialty cat-themed Tarot cards. I
especially like the Cat's Eye Tarot, which is by a cat veterinarian,
but is not yet complete:

Fizz one year RB anniversary25 Nov 2006 21:31 GMT12
Sunday the 19th marks one year since my Fizzgig went to the RB
suddenly.
I still miss his cuddly bulk, and his clownish dignity.
Here are some of my favorite anecdotes about him:
Cats & baby25 Nov 2006 21:28 GMT6
Our grandson now weighs 13 lbs. which makes him the same size as the cats.
So far, Rosie and Cinder have been unimpressed with this bare kitten.  His
mother drops him off here when she goes to the gym, which is conveniently up
the street.
A question for the group25 Nov 2006 19:45 GMT26
With me now with my new camera :-)
I am going to be able to take more pictures like I want to specially with
more time on my hands.  Is there a place that I can load my pictures up
online and have them for all to see but I would like keep personal
Last house update25 Nov 2006 16:59 GMT2
We found a mortgage, and my parents offered to lend us the
downpayment, but it was a bit late - we didn't get the house... John
wants us to keep looking but I've had enough of the house-hunting game
for now. I don't want to even THINK about it for at least three
Thanksgiving25 Nov 2006 03:29 GMT9
This Thursday is Thanksgiving day here in the US. Not being a native,
this is a non-traditional holiday for me. I guess growing up New Years
was our Thanksgiving, since grandma always made sure the entire family
went to church on December 31 to "say thanks".
