The histopathology report has come back. No surprises - Sam's tumor was
osteosarcoma. The good news is that all surgical margins are wide and clear.

Cosmo:  Winner of the Olympic Pill-Spitting Contest05 Nov 2006 21:20 GMT6
Now, Cosmo is 16 or so, and has both a heart murmur and CRF.  He gets
a Lasix pill twice a day, which I have been giving him for several
years now.
Yesterday, Cosmo was at the top of the stairs (you know, the Evil
Trill's Adoption Anniversary05 Nov 2006 21:17 GMT7
I'm a little late, since it was yesterday, but he and everyone else
did get their treats anyway!
Trill was a stray, a little black guy, who had been showing up on my
porch for six weeks.  The neighborhood kids started worrying about him
New kid on the block05 Nov 2006 14:21 GMT22
Now, after accepting Peter and Julius in my home this year, another
stray showed up this October and checked our home thoroughly. As long
as it is warm outside I keep my office window open. One evening, lying
on the sofa, watching TV, an unknown orange tabby crossed the floor,

Keeping warm05 Nov 2006 03:47 GMT10
With a snow storm, and the power off for two weeks, how to stay warm?
The furnace has gas, but there is no electric. The stove is electric,
and the portable space heater is electric. So, the house gets cold in
one day.
Freaking out. Boss bailed05 Nov 2006 02:49 GMT6
Today we got the bomb that our manager bailed and took another
position with the company that aquired us. He's been telling me for
months to trust him, that he will stand behind me. So much for
someones word when it comes down to it.
Dorian Vs The S***rats05 Nov 2006 02:01 GMT3
For the past three months I have had siblings-in-law living here.  In
August, I got Fallon, DP's brother's girlfriend.  DP's brother Daniel
joined her two weeks later, and they lived here until they were able to
move into their new apartment on 1 October.

We had such a nice evening last night, distributing goodies to the
neighbor kiddies.  Such lovely children!  We hear all the time about
spoiled brats and various delinquents, and we see quite a few of them,
but  we had nothing but absolutely charming, delightful children last
Update on Spotty04 Nov 2006 21:09 GMT1
Remember the little stray (or let run loose until he was emaciated) kitty I
rescued last month?  I just heard back from The House of Mews.  (I check on
his progress every week.)
Spotty has had a bad case of diarrhea and they had to put him on medication
Snowstorm Preparation04 Nov 2006 18:56 GMT5
With winter coming on (in the Northen Hemisphere) it's time to get
ready for winter. Since storms have hit at least two places in the US
(Buffalo, NY and some where in Colorado, I can't remebmer which city)
it is long past time.
Jake is a scaredy cat04 Nov 2006 01:51 GMT11
Jacob, my 15 mos old cat, is a nervous boy. He notices anything
unusual - one time, my DH's work shoes got a hole in the top, and you
would have thought it was a monster.  Jake did the belly crawl over to
the shoes, and proceeded to beat them up.  Dave moved his foot, and
Don't make the bed!04 Nov 2006 01:09 GMT19
My mom was visiting.  She is a neat freak and I am someone who
organizes, but by "piles" (ie, I think it is intuitive that important
legal papers go in the scanner, and I won't put a mug away in the
cupboard if I'm just going to get it out again the next morning.
