I've created monsters!09 Nov 2006 13:51 GMT10
I have been trying to get my gang to eat canned food for quite a while with no
success whatsoever. A couple of weeks ago I spotted the new Fancy Feast Elegant
Gourment variety and decided to give it a try. I don't know that was such a
good idea. For the past week as soon as I get ...

Pics by my niece again07 Nov 2006 20:27 GMT13
My niece has posted some new pictures of her cats (and her paternal
granddad). There's a hilarious series of Emil (Miranda's brother) eating
a cardboard box.

Here is a possible explanation for some of us, and a warning for others.

Day of the (Living) Dead, or Burrito Bandito07 Nov 2006 17:11 GMT7
Ok, to observe Dia de los Muertos in a small way, I'm going to my
local burrito boutique-- mysteriously manned by Chinese people-- and
pick up one of their ambrosial chicken burritos-- I do not understand
it, but those things are addictive.  Well, as some of you may recall,

Oh my goodness....06 Nov 2006 23:07 GMT24
I've just looked at the date. It was a year ago today that a tiny little
furry kitten marched the family Miles lives and took it over. It can't
believe that Miss Lily Whiskers is a YEAR OLD!!!
Where has the time gone? In that year, my beautiful girl has blossomed
It's NOT TIME YET!06 Nov 2006 19:54 GMT9
I am awake at this undogly (yes, I misspelled that on purpose) hour but that
doesn't mean I'm going to fill up the food bowl, Persia!  She's tapping at
me, murrrping at me, purring extra loudly, trying to direct my attention
towards the pantry where her food awaits.  It's not time ...
Baby is on its way....06 Nov 2006 18:00 GMT8
Just to let you know my waters broke about an hour ago.
No regular contractions yet, but I guess the next time I post I will
have my little one.
Kate.
Finally06 Nov 2006 17:47 GMT34
I finally got some photos of Pandora (formerly Gracie) uploaded to the
photo albums.  Beginning with shortly after we got her, to a couple
taken just today.
Take a gander at "My Stove Doesn't Work"...  my favorite currently.
Tragedy purrs needed06 Nov 2006 10:08 GMT49
Here in southern California we've had to deal with a rash of brush fires
over the last year. The latest one erupted last night, southwest of the
city of Cabazon. Now, less than 24 hours later, it has grown to more
than 10000 acres. We have very high sustained winds whipping and ...
Tail poofing06 Nov 2006 05:36 GMT3
As I mentioned in another post, Caliban often poofs his tail for little
or no reason. Lately, I've been suspecting that he is channelling Nikki
in some way. I've never seen any other cat do this with their tail.
Nikki used to walk about with her tail partially poofed out. She ...
AAAAAGGGHHH!!06 Nov 2006 04:29 GMT21
I got the notion today of buying a skein of yarn to see if my hands
would be OK for knitting a pair of mittens (it's suddenly become very
cold here). I did consider that it might not be a good idea to start a
knitting project with two frisky young cats in the house, but I thought ...
