Ambush!25 Oct 2006 12:40 GMT3
Sugar was feeling particularly fine after lunch. Pearl was intent on getting
to me and my turkey sandwich. As Pearl trekked towards me, Sugar ran out
her! Ambush! HOwever, Pearl barely looked at her, causing Sugar to have to
hop and skip past her. It was very funny.  I love that ...

Hi everyone -- Sorry to have been here so little recently -- lots going on
in Real Life but I hope to catch up as soon as I possibly can.  Sending
purrs and good thoughts to all of you -- miss you.
Here's a funny cat video, DH found today:
Sam Update - 10/2024 Oct 2006 19:52 GMT28
It appears that Sam didn't get the email telling him he was a invalid cat!
When I went to get him one of the tech's carried him into the lobby in her
arms with a second tech carrying his meds and carrier. I. Could. Not.
Believe. My. Eyes!! Sam was alert, bright eyed and curious.  ...
The Tao of scavenging24 Oct 2006 19:19 GMT3
Last night, no econd helping of linguini with white clam sauce, Tao ate
the rest of the linguini fom the collander.
Just to provide a glimpse of what scavenging means to him, I was
snacking all the guys with kibble, everyone running about crying how
A few pics outside24 Oct 2006 17:37 GMT17
I got the enclosure cleaned up from weeds, and now that I'm not so
freaked out about the dead bunny (RIP poor Bugs) the lil
dudes got a day out yesterday.  A little chilly, but they loved
it. Bad part was the next door neighbors dog yapping at them the
Thank you for the purrs24 Oct 2006 16:33 GMT22
Thanks for the purrs and prayers.  They helped.  My mother crossed the
bridge at 12:20 this morning.  I'll probably be on line for a little while,
but my son is coming over, and my daughter will be here this evening, so I
won't be posting much for the rest of the day.
Mooch & Emily on the Web24 Oct 2006 12:11 GMT1
Flippy has just added two new pages to her great kitty website. One is
about Mooch, the little tuxie stray who has his own fan club of members
from across the world, most of them RPCA folk. And the other page is
about Emily, our grey stay-at-home rebel whose misadventures are also
Lazy, Cuddly Day24 Oct 2006 05:40 GMT4
I got to stay home today, and I got treated to the full feline
pampering treatment.  Or was I just a giant hot-waterbottle for the
boyz?  In any case, I spent  what seemed like hours with Stinky draped
over my hips and Dante draped over my ankles.  They seem to divide me

Purrs for Dan M24 Oct 2006 02:13 GMT58
I heard yesterday that he had to go to an ER and spent part of the day in a
hospital for dehydration. I don't know much more than that he's been too
sick to post.
Sam Update 9:02 p.m. EDT24 Oct 2006 02:12 GMT29
The Phone Rang! Sam is doing well. They removed the chest tube and he is
breathing well. He's very dopey right now and they will keep him on pain
meds through the night. He has his pain patch which should kick in by
tomorrow and if everything continues well he should be able to ...
I GOT HER!24 Oct 2006 02:07 GMT54
Not in the trap... I grabbed the skinny kitty and plunked her in the 2nd
bathroom.  With food and water and a foil tray with litter for a litter box.
She's crying.  Persia is hissing like mad and acting like I've lost my mind.
Meanwhile, I'll be able to fatten this kitty up and take ...
Día de Los Muertos24 Oct 2006 02:02 GMT46
October 31st, "The Day of the Dead" or "Día de Los Muerto" is fast
approaching.
Usually, here in RPCA, we'd honour the cats and other beloved pets that have
gone to Raibow Bridge (or are Missing in Action) before us by listing their

I've just come home from an appointment with an Ophthalmic Consultant
at the hospital.....I may be developing a Macular Hole in my left eye,
my right eye is pretty useless with only 1/60 vision any way so this
could result in me ending *very* visually compromised. The consultant
